I went to Sol Clinic yesterday for Botox — my first time there — and I loved it! The staff was amazing, and the clinic has such a cosy, welcoming vibe. As a mature woman in my mid fifties, I have always been somewhat reticent about botox and fillers.But I finally succumbed to peer pressure and tried out a few places, but wasn't happy with the results. I felt a bit 'frozen' and unnatural. However, my visit to John changed all that. He was incredibly patient and totally understood that I wanted an understated look, and was just aiming to appear a bit 'fresher' and slightly younger. Several friends have told me how good I look and ask what creams I'm using! And finally, I was brave enough to have a tiny bit of filler in my lips. Has made such a difference! I'd been considering having some botox for years. Always putting it off. As a hairdresser, I've seen and heard of so many horror stories and botch jobs! My hooded eyes and deep wrinkles were actually getting me down. Until one day I was forwarded John's details by chance/fate, so I thought, I'm approaching 60, so it's now or never! As the day got closer I was getting cold feet and on meeting John for my first appointment i was getting quite anxious. This was very short lived, thanks to John's lovely, calming persona. John really understood my concerns and assured me i wouldn't have that frozen look. I felt totally confident whilst having the procedure done. After a 2 week top up/tweek, I'm nearly 4 weeks in and I feel incredible! My eyes have lifted, wrinkles smoother and it looks totally natural. Some clients have said how well I look and that i look younger! I also feel a lot more confident and i am so pleased with results! John has to be the best in the business! He has a wonderful bedside manner mixed with incredible expertise, using the right technique and always suggesting the best products. John has to be the best in the business! He has a wonderful bedside manner mixed with incredible expertise, using the right technique and always suggesting the best products. I have been back to John several times over a long period and have had cosmetic procedures from Botox to fillers. John has transformed my appearance. He also somehow manages to deliver the procedures in a way that minimises bruising and I have always had perfect results. Something else that John does is offer excellent after care, always checking in and seeing how I am doing, requesting photos to make sure the results are at a high standard that he delivers. Updating my review as I’m so pleased with my ongoing treatment that I feel compelled to add more. (I rarely review businesses on but when you find a doctor and clinic this good for something as important and sensitive as facial injections, it really means something!)

I’ve continued to see Dr Vee, who is always such a delight. I look forward to going just to catch up aside from anything else now! She is already suggesting ways that I reduce the amount of Botox/areas that I need, based on the improvement she’s seen in my fine lines/muscle strength. When it says on the website that patients are encouraged to reduce treatment over time, that’s not a sales pitch, the doctors truly are committed to giving you the minimum treatment you need. I’ve even asked Vee about other treatments and areas and she is always completely honest and direct if she thinks I don’t need something or wouldn’t see a benefit. This is truly a clinic where the people care about you and want the best for you, ahead of just thinking about how much money they can make. Both the ladies who work on the front desk are also so lovely. I always walk out of the clinic laughing and upbeat - and that’s in spite of having needles stuck into my face! Honestly, I will never go anywhere else for my facial treatments. Love this place and love Vee 🫶

So impressed by Dr Vee. This is my third visit now (1x first time, 1x complimentary top up, 1x visit 3 months later). So friendly and professional and makes everything clearly understandable.
