everything zara does is carried out with such care, precision and expertise. she understands faces on a level that is SO reassuring and she is completely honest, she will happily say no if she doesn’t believe something will look right for you. that alone speaks volumes about her professionalism and integrity. she listens to exactly what it is you want to change, takes the time to really understand your insecurities and problem areas, and then does everything in her power to make sure you leave feeling your absolute best inside and out

i went in wanting tear trough treatment, something id wanted for such a long time as I’d always had deep lines under my eyes that were a huge insecurity for me. instantly zara told me that tear trough wasn’t what I needed and wasn’t right for me and suggested an alternative. trusting that advice was so daunting especially when you have your heart so set on something you THINK will work for you but the results were so much better than i could ever have imagined and i am so overwhelmed by how much better i feel, i genuinely don’t know why i doubted her for a single second. this is just one example of how perfectly she understands what your face truly needs. she applies the same level of precision and care to everything she does, my lips and botox are always so beyond perfect and exactly right for my face and something i get complimented on soooo often (even after not having them done for 4 years because they lasted so well). she has never let me down and honestly knows my face wayyyyy better than i do

beyond her talent, zara is one of the most beautifully kind, purest people you could ever meet. i genuinely look forward to my appointments just to see her, even more than for the treatments themselves. she will always squeeze me in for last minute appointments where she can, she is always asking about me and my life but honestly the entire team at the clinic are just as wonderful. everybody is so warm, welcoming and attentive. they remember all the little details, always take the time to chat with you, and consistently make sure you feel comfortable and cared for

I honestly have had the best experience with Anna and would not go anywhere else now. She recently dissolved some tear trough filler for me and I then decided to trust her with the Picasso treatment. I can honestly say I’m so much happier and the result is incredible. I’ve had so many compliments and can see from my before and after shots, that she’s subtlety enhanced my appearance. I’m still me but just look fresher and softer. I was truly blown away with the results and love that my friends and family haven’t seen a dramatic difference but just keep telling me I look fantastic! Anna is a sculptor and the loveliest person. The personal experience of Ineke van Ruiten (39) with tear trough fillers

I’ve always had under-eye bags. Always a sort of blue circle under my eyes. Even in childhood photos, it was there. Sometimes worse, sometimes less noticeable. In winter when I was pale, or during hay fever season, the bags stood out even more. I didn’t mind them, but my mother often said I looked tired.

During puberty, I became more aware of it. I started wearing makeup and wanted to look good. Those under-eye bags bothered me. Luckily, I could camouflage them well. Still, it was a daily concern. My day couldn’t start until the dark circles were covered. I wouldn’t go outside without concealer.

I never really looked for a permanent solution. I assumed there wasn’t one. Of course, I had heard of fillers, but I didn’t really know what they could do.

Helped by friend Robin

In the following years, I lived my life. I got married and had two children. I worked for over 10 years as an administrative assistant at a large insurance company. At 34, I decided to change jobs. I started working in administration at a home accessories wholesaler. There, I met Robin, my new colleague. Robin is a fun and spontaneous woman, and we became friends. Eventually, I told her how much the dark circles under my eyes bothered me. Robin shared her experience with tear trough fillers. She was shocked I hadn’t heard of them. Haha, yes, I didn’t know — apparently it wasn’t common in my environment.

Robin took me to a consultation at a private clinic in Hilversum. There was a very kind female doctor who understood exactly what bothered me. I decided to have tear trough fillers.

Experience of the tear trough treatment

During the treatment, she gave me one injection. Then she used a cannula under my eye to distribute the filler. It didn’t hurt at all. I find the result amazing. The doctor explained that the dark circle is caused by the thinness of my skin, which makes the blood underneath visible as a blue/dark hue. The tear trough filler slightly thickened the skin. It may be a micro millimetre, but for me, it achieved a perfect result. It’s been three months, and I’m happy every single day.

My advice: Only get treated if you connect with the doctor

I am very grateful to Robin for taking me to this wonderful doctor. I had a great connection with her — she’s a true professional. You sometimes read bizarre stories about fillers in the media, but I think the key is to have a connection with your doctor. If you don’t, just talk to another doctor. That would be my advice!
