I usually get Botox treatments and wouldn't trust my face in the hands of any one else! From day 1, Dr Chike Emeagi has been welcoming and has put any concerns I had at ease. He is thorough in his explanations and has left me with results that look amazing! My face looks natural with the treatments, and has given me the desired look I wanted. In addition, he has really helped me understand my specific skin and explained skincare - science/trends in a way that is accessible to me. I am deeply dissatisfied with my recent consultation with Dr Chike. Prior to booking, I clearly outlined the treatment I was interested in and provided reference photos. Based on this, I was advised on suitable options and encouraged to book a face-to-face consultation.
From the outset, the experience was unprofessional. The doctor arrived late and the clinic door was closed, leaving me waiting outside in the rain for over 15 minutes before anyone came to let me in. Once inside, my concerns only grew. The treatment room was untidy, poorly maintained, and generally unpleasant, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable.
Dr Chike did not acknowledge or apologise for the delay. He simply asked my name, briefly looked at me, and within a couple of minutes dismissed the very treatments he had previously approved via email, offering little to no explanation for the sudden change.
The consultation felt rushed and impersonal, as though patients were being processed rather than cared for. My questions and concerns were barely addressed, and no real effort was made to explain alternative options or the reasoning behind his decisions.
The overall attitude left me feeling that once the consultation fee was paid, my concerns were no longer important. Trust, professionalism, and patient care are essential in cosmetic medicine, and unfortunately, none of these were present during my visit.
I am now seeking treatment elsewhere and am seriously considering filing a formal complaint, particularly as I was not the only client experiencing similar issues that day. My advice to anyone considering procedures here is to think very carefully before booking with this so-called professional. Show less »
