Skintap exists to prove that aesthetic medicine can be honest.

Heather Robinson founded the clinic after almost twenty years in clinical nursing, and built it around a single principle: "sometimes the best treatment is no treatment."

Every patient begins with a face-to-face consultation and a full medical history review. If a treatment isn't right for you, we will say so — and explain what is. There is no menu to work through, no pressure and no upselling. We only offer treatments that can be safely delivered by a medical professional, with a genuine clinical evidence base, using products that are CE-marked and licensed for use in the UK.

Our aim is long-term: to understand your skin, your goals and your life, and to build a treatment plan that serves you over years rather than over a single appointment.

Skintap is a nurse-led, nurse-prescriber-led clinic. That distinction matters — in the UK, botulinum toxin can only be administered under a prescription, and having a prescriber in the room removes the delays and third-party uncertainty that patients encounter elsewhere.

We are based in South Woodford, London E18, and care for patients across East London and Essex.

Heather Robinson is a Registered Nurse Prescriber (NMC Registration 06G0964E) with a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and almost twenty years of clinical nursing experience. She qualified as a nurse in 2006.
