Dr Ian Morgan was my second opinion as I had UK Skin Dr Braham who only carries out consultations via WhatsApp with photos text me that I'm not a good candidate for eyelid surgery (hooded eyelids) When I texted back asking why. I was told he believes the surgery won't improve my puffy eyelids. I texted is there anything else I could have. I was told eyebrow lift surgery but Dr Braham doesn't do that surgery. I was very upset and depressed at the thought I will have to just live with hooded eyelids. A nurse highly recommended Dr Ian Morgan at Soul care aesthetics. I didn't carry much hope to be honest because of what Dr Braham stated via WhatsApp. Well this is why one should always seek a second opinion . Dr Ian Mogan was lovely so down to earth and humble. He said I would be a ideal candidate for upper eyelid surgery. He showed me where my eyelid was dropping and causing heaviness. He was quite shocked when I told him what Dr Braham had said. He said that is quite naughty as all consultations should be seen in person. He explained everything to me and didn't rush me despite all the questions I had. I was so happy I booked there and then even though Dr Morgan advised I take my time and read all the information they are only a phonecall away there is no rush. I told Dr Morgan that his my final opinion and I've looked into this for a couple of years now. I came out on such a high. Unless you suffer with hooded eyelids that sadly only get worse with age then it's hard for many to understand how it affects one's confidence. As a woman when you can't wear eyeshadow or apply false lashes because your eyelids are getting in the way, it really does affect you mentally. I had the surgery in July 2024 and I am very happy I did. It's a minor surgery but very effective my eyes look more alert and awake. Dr Morgan and his staff were brilliant they all put me at ease. It was so quick too. Dr Morgan showed me me the removed extra eyelid skin and fat afterwards, you see how it weighs your eyelids and makes them heavier. Best of all is the post aftercare. Dr Morgan has follow ups with you. Even the NHS don't do this after many surgeries they just sign you off. Dr Morgan I've now seen a week after my surgery to have stitches removed, then 6 weeks, then 3 months etc. This is really good. I can't believe this advanced highly qualified surgeon remains so down to earth and humble. He really is one in a million. His definitely been a part of my journey to improving myself.
