Finally the search for a clinic that is using high quality injectables with an expert practitioner has been realised. I’ve been using Botox for about 18 years and was always happy to have my injections right here in Birmingham, that is until about ten years ago when I began to find myself continually disappointed by the results. I went from clinic to clinic trying to recapture the results I’d come to expect in years gone by, but sadly the results continued to disappoint. When I discussed this at my follow up appointment, I was often told things I believed not to be accurate such as “ Botox is less effective as you get older “ or “ it’s because you are over using Botox “, a simple search on google will tell you that the excuses I was given as to why my treatment was disappointing was not accurate. In the end if I wanted an effective treatment, I would have to travel to Manchester or London, it would appear that Botox still worked outside of the Midlands. The good news is, all this was until I discovered Dermoperfection. I can’t tell you how happy I was to stumble across this Clinic when I was with a few friends at the Mailbox. I decided to give it a try and I couldn’t be happier that I did. The results are always great, I am no longer disappointed and I no longer have to travel to Manchester or London to get the high quality results I want. I’ve been coming to So aesthetics now for years and always have great treatments and really lovely care at this professional salon. 4. Safety and hygiene

A professional doctor works in a hygienic clinic with high-quality products. Check whether the doctor uses top brands such as Botox®, Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Profhilo.

5. Before and after photos

Ask to see previous treatment results. An experienced doctor can show examples of clients with a similar facial structure and wishes.

6. Personal consultation

A good consultation is essential. The doctor listens to your wishes, discusses the possibilities, and sets realistic expectations. Avoid doctors who want to carry out a treatment immediately without a proper conversation.

Who is not authorized?

Beauticians, masseurs, skin therapists, physiotherapists, and all other non-doctors are not authorized to perform injectables treatments. Sometimes they try to bypass this by using a filler gun/pistol or meso gun/pistol to inject fillers under high pressure. However, this is doomed to fail. The risk of complications is high.
