I had an emergency with extremely severe tooth pain and called the Harrogate Clinic at around 8pm. I was incredibly grateful that they were able to see me at 9pm that same evening, especially at such short notice and so late in the evening.

From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The clinic was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained and had such a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Dr Shohreh Ghassemi, who is the owner of the clinic and the dentist who treated me, was incredibly professional, thorough and reassuring throughout. She took the time to properly assess the problem and made me feel completely at ease despite being in a great deal of pain.

The level of care and attention was outstanding, and I really appreciated how thorough everything was. It is not often you find a clinic that is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate an emergency at 9pm, and I am genuinely so grateful that they did.

A huge thank you to Dr Ghassemi and the entire team at Harrogate Clinic for their professionalism, kindness and exceptional care. I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone looking for excellent dental care. Show less »

A very good analysis of my problem, the various ways forward, discussion of the differing risks helped me to make a decision to go ahead with root canal treatment.
I was stunned that Dr Shoreh and her team were available for immediate intervention within an hour.

A quick response and appointment for toothache. A very professional staff and a wonderful dentist who took great care to assess the problem thoroughly and who took the time to educate about correct dental hygeine. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

I have a severely impacted wisdom tooth and I’m on a 42 week NHS hospital waitlist to get it removed. I called on a bank holiday in a lot of pain from an infection surrounding the tooth, after a really rough weekend of being passed from pillar to post with no help. I couldn’t be seen by my NHS dentist 2 hours away in Nottingham due to travel just for them to give me a small dose of antibiotics, no professional cleaning and say nothing we can do until the 42 weeks is up.

Dr Shoreh Ghasmi fit me in that afternoon as an emergency appointment and was incredible. She was thorough, professional and made me feel completely heard — something I genuinely hadn’t felt through this whole NHS journey.

She did a deep clean of the area (something I’ve never had before with the NHS) explained everything clearly, and sent me away with the right treatment.

After reviewing my x-ray she also told me she may be able to remove the tooth privately but I would need to be seen by her dental surgeon for a proper assessment to double check - something I’m now seriously considering rather than suffering for another 42 weeks on the NHS waitlist.

For the first time in about a year, I actually feel like there’s a real path forward.

If you’re struggling with NHS dental waiting times and need someone who listens and treats you like a person — come here. Worth every penny.

From start to finish, she was incredibly professional and calm, taking the time to reassure me and explain everything clearly. Although the reconstruction turned out to be a much bigger job than she first anticipated, she completely rose to the challenge. Her skill, focus, and attention to detail were exceptional.

Dr Ghasemi is a perfectionist by nature, which is exactly what you want when it comes to something as important as your teeth. She restored my tooth beautifully and quite literally gave me my smile back.

I was in tears, scared and absolutely beside myself. Dr Shoreh Ghasmi took me under her wing, repaired my tooth and was so kind, compassionate and understanding. I returned the following week for a full scale and polish and x rays. I then returned again for some more treatment and joined the dental plan. I am in the process of having my teeth whitened at the moment, and am thinking about straightening. I have always hidden my teeth and feared the dentist so much that it stayed that way. Now I am smiling with a wide smile showing off my pearly whites! I still feel some anxiety when heading to the clinic, but Dr Shoreh Ghasmi always puts me at ease from the moment she sees me, then putting relaxing music on and by being such a caring and amazing dentist. I called the practice about ten days ago as I couldn't get a response from closer alleged 24/7 dentists. The lady dentist was away on an emergency, but gave me advice that lessoned my pain and helped me get some sleep and some relief. I’ve been visiting The Harrogate Dentist for a while now, and every experience has been excellent. The staff are all welcoming and professional, and the office is always clean and comfortable. Shoreh is a true perfectionist and is incredibly thorough, explains everything clearly, and makes sure I feel at ease during every appointment.
From routine cleanings to more detailed procedures, the quality of care has been consistently outstanding. I really appreciate their gentle approach and attention to detail and the fact that Shoreh is completely transparent about costs. I always leave feeling confident about my dental health.

My partner called out of hours with a dental emergency whilst away in the area. The clinic got him in as soon as possible, the service and care from start to finish was second to none. You can tell the whole team is passionate and knowledgeable. You truly feel safe and well looked after in their hands.

Can’t recommend enough.
