After reading about Emtone and a consultation Iater I paid an eye watering upfront fee of £1000 to have this treatment and get good results. Unfortunately this will be an uncomfortable write since having had treatment at AL5.
After reading about Emtone and a consultation Iater I paid an eye watering upfront fee of £1000 to have this treatment and get good results. I was booked for 12 sessions of Emtone at least one per week. Photos were taken prior to the treatment. The treatment itself was a total of 40 minutes (10 mins on either side) both front, inner and back of thighs including the bum but they barely touched the bottom and inner thigh area. I had clearly stated during the consultation what areas I wanted treating. The therapist said two areas at the front of thighs and two at the back.
The machine is quite loud and gets extremely hot on the skin to the point where it burns and the therapist doesn’t feel it but I did! So I had to ask them to reduce the heat or give me some cool down time. Post treatment I had to wait 3 months since apparently the treatment keeps working, so I returned in February 2026 for post treatment photos. What I saw was barely noticeable results or 10% improvement, I still had wobbly thighs and loose skin.
I think If you want optimum results then literally thousands is what you have to pay for, so best you save your money as it’s really not worth it, as it’s more con than pro. I felt like I was paying for the rental of the machine rather than getting worthy results.
The therapist obviously sensed I was disappointed and promised to get the manager to call me so, I waited….& waited….& waited…for a phone call as promised but no phone call or email. I don’t normally do reviews, But I feel like these girls thoroughly deserve this.
I’ve struggled with facial hair the whole of my life, as a woman, it’s awful to have to go through, After ONE laser hair session at AL5 instead of having to shave twice daily, I’ve had to shave once a week and it didn’t feel bristly at all! This is life changing. The machine is incredible and so is the therapist. They are polite, Professional and fantastic at their job. They use the best quality machine, And it really does work. Anyone thinking about getting it done I can only say I wish I just done it years ago, I Wouldn’t use anywhere else because all machines are different and I can only say this one is fantastic And the staff just know what they’re doing, They use the best of the best products and machines For a fantastic price. Great experience, I had a cell story facial in December, it is a great alternative to traditional microneedling which i have always found too painful to want to continue to do. In comparison cell story feels like a prickly cactus on your face for 72 hours, but no pain or broken skin etc. It is slight discomfort at best and gives you smooth clear skin. The cl... Show more »
