Chantry Place in Norwich is easily one of my favourite shopping destinations in the city — a modern, vibrant and well-planned centre that truly caters to a wide range of tastes and needs. Situated in the heart of Norwich city centre, it’s easy to get to on foot from everywhere around the market and shops, making it ideal whether you’re planning a full day out or just a quick visit.

The variety of stores here is genuinely impressive — with over 90 shops, including major high-street brands like Apple, H&M, Zara, Frasers and plenty of local boutiques, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re updating your wardrobe, picking out gifts, or just browsing interiors and accessories, you’ll find plenty to explore.

I also loved the dining options on offer. The food court and cafes provide a great mix of choices — from quick bites to sit-down meals — so you can easily make a day of your visit without heading elsewhere. The restaurants are varied and the seating areas are comfortable and clean, which adds to the overall relaxed vibe.

One of the standout things about Chantry Place is how well-maintained it feels. The interior is spacious and bright, with plenty of seating, clear signage and easy access between levels via escalators and lifts. Clean facilities and helpful staff make the experience smooth, even during busier times.

Overall, Chantry Place delivers a top-notch shopping and leisure experience — excellent store variety, nice places to eat, a friendly atmosphere, and a central location that’s hard to beat. It’s a must-visit in Norwich for anyone who loves shopping or simply enjoying a lively city centre environment.

Would definitely recommend! Show less »

My favourite of the two malls, Chapelfield has a wide variety of shops and restaurants like the Apple Store, hollister, hmv, auntie Anne’s, McDonald’s, KFC, subway and many more. Good prices in some stores. Honestly just a great atmosphere for social gatherings and just shopping.

A mall where you are able to shop around for almost anything in the center of Norwich city, more than 1 set of restroom available. Bus stations right outside

This is a good shopping mall in the heart of Norwich. Well lit (feels like natural light in the main atrium) - set over two levels with a galleried second floor, giving it a nice open feel. Meticulously clean and well maintained, including loos. A decent range of shops catering to different budgets, including a good choice of places to eat both in the upstairs food court and outside with cafés and restaurants set around 'Chantry Square'. The car park is also good value, clean with good sight lines, wide spaces, NPR for easy in and out - and you can get out any time long after it closes for entry. Show less »

Chantry Place is Norwich’s go-to spot when you’re in the mood to shop, snack, and stroll in style. Packed with big-name brands like Zara, H&M, Apple. it’s got pretty much everything from high-street staples to a splash of luxury.

Need new kicks? Hit JD Sports. Craving sushi or noodles? YO! Sushi and Wagamama have your back.

Generally a decent shopping mall, lots of shop selection of decent products, and lots of verity, good amount of eating and drinking places, interior is also very clean as well as the toilets being very clean. Wifi never worked though and the car park is not good with very poor signage. But generally a good shopping centre for visit.

This was called Chapelfield the last time I visited probably a while ago. Seems to cater for all ages with lots of interesting stores to choose from. Plenty of places to eat or just a cup of coffee or tea. Dressed out with its Christmas Decorations. Car Parks available via the lifts. Based on different levels for shopping with a food hall on the upper floor.
