After looking around and messaging a few places, Emily before I’d booked anything gave me great advice and was very approachable from the beginning so I booked.
Just finished skin boosters and polynucleotide training with Emily and Jamie. What a team! Their instruction complements each other but both so clear in explanations and give so much encouragement. Emily appeals to my technical lecturer side and Jamie my practical kinaesthetic learning side. Found that these tweakments I’d been avoiding, were not scary at all. Fantastic models were supplied which also puts your student nerves to rest. I have booked my essential first aid training with them as lucky enough to be learning with the paramedic that will be team teaching on that. And if you want to learn in a friendly , knowledgeable, chilled and encouraging venue then Gem Aesthetics is the place to be. I only discovered this little gem recently and have had three different treatments here. I had polynucleotides under my eyes and then skin boosters. After my polynucleotide treatment (which wasn’t done with a cannula), my under-eye area felt a little cold and numb for about an hour, and there were tiny hive-like blebs — which I read are completely normal. I only discovered this little gem recently and have had three different treatments here. I had polynucleotides under my eyes and then skin boosters. After my polynucleotide treatment (which wasn’t done with a cannula), my under-eye area felt a little cold and numb for about an hour, and there were tiny hive-like blebs — which I read are completely normal. They started settling within a few hours. They did take 48hrs to go away so I wasn't a great sight!
Monika was fantastic throughout — she explained exactly what product she was using, why it suited my skin, and what results to expect. Being a nurse, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident. The service was excellent, and she clearly uses high-quality products. I couldn’t recommend her more. I’ll definitely be coming back to see what else she offers, and anyone looking for safe, professional treatments should book with her! Show less »
