Had my hair transplant at Este Birmingham. Initially had a consultation with Harj and she explained the steps and procedures very well. Gave me the options and provided lots of information in general about hair treatments. Decided to go with the robotic DHI treatment, along with after care treatments, as it allows for a more precise hairline placement. The surgery itself was tough but mostly painless. You get picked up in the morning by a great chauffeur and dropped off. After a few forms were filled out and general consultation, it was time for the operation. The surgeons and team were very professional and the surgery was done in about 7/8 hours, with a break in between for some really good food. After the surgery, everything was explained well in terms of after care and the chauffeur was there to drop me back home.
The next step is 10 days worth of aftercare in which I went to the clinic to get my bandage removed the next day and then every other day to have my scalp washed. Irana mainly did the hair washes and was very informative and helpful over the 10 days of aftercare- I enjoyed coming back to the clinic to get the scalp washed.
In general the centre was very good from start to finish of the procedure and I have post operation treatments like the PRP booked. The team were good at being available and answering any queries or concerns whenever I had them.
The only minor criticism I have was during surgery, the anaesthetic had “popped” a number of times from the needle during the operation- so small amounts had spilt on my head/ ears. As it happened multiple times, it was quite frustrating due to being in the middle of the operation.
This is the only issue I had, apart from that, the clinic were great pre, during and post surgery. I will be visiting back for treatments after and recommend people to have an initial consultation for skin/ hair treatments as there are other routes other than a transplant. Show less »

Very professional service and beautiful clinic, I've now booked more treatments and I'm very happy with my facial prp treatment today..I will upload before and after in a few weeks when fully healed. I would recommend especially for people of colour as she is experienced in this and our skin is different as she explained. Her knowledge and advice around PRP reassured me that I was in safe hands! I am someone who has a phobia of blood and needles, but Naila made the whole process from consultation to procedure so easy and I was comfortable throughout. I've had my second PRP treatment with Dr Aqib for my hair and face. I have to say I've felt so comfortable during treatments and the results are showing for it self. My hair was falling a lot prior treatment and I was getting bold patches. It was so bad that where ever I looked I would find my hair. I was thinking it would take a bit of time to see results with the hair but I have to say I can already see new growth and it feels thicker. I've had hair loss on and off over the years. I've tried various treatments but nothing seemed to work for me. I'm glad I went to Dr Aqib for my treatment as he understood my concerns and took his time to make sure I understood the procedure completely and if i was happy to go ahead with my treatments. The PRP for my face has also worked wonders, I had fine lines which look so much more smoother. I hardly need to apply any makeup as my skin feels flawless. I also had pigmentation in some areas which i can see has lifted to a lighter tone. I'm looking forward to the end results and being makeup free. I would highly recommend Dr Aqib for all your aesthetic and other treatments, I definitely will be back for more.
