I’m very disappointed with my experience here. From the outset, the electrologist appeared inexperienced with the technique. They initially didn’t even have the correct needle size or length to begin my treatment, which immediately raised concerns about their level of training and preparation.

During electrolysis, you are not meant to feel the hair being plucked after the zap if the treatment is done correctly. Unfortunately, I felt constant plucking on many occasions, which strongly suggested improper technique and ineffective treatment. At times, this seemed to be masked by switching on an extremely loud cooling machine, which felt more like a distraction than a solution.

I had six treatments, each lasting 60 minutes. At that amount of time, you would reasonably expect at least one full clearance of a small area such as the chin. Despite this, progress was extremely slow and there were no meaningful results, further highlighting poor technique and inefficiency & the need to stop the process altogether.

Throughout my appointments, the electrologist repeatedly suggested that I consider laser hair removal instead, advising me to return to electrolysis only if hairs remained afterward. This felt inappropriate and confusing, especially given that I had specifically sought out electrolysis and was already experiencing issues with technique and results.

Following treatment, I experienced excessive scabbing well beyond what’s considered normal, along with ongoing inflammation, hyperpigmentation, and prolonged skin damage in the treated areas. Ultimately, I stopped attending due to how severe these reactions became. What was particularly disappointing was that instead of acknowledging the role their treatment may have played, I was offered other in-house services to “correct” the skin issues caused.

While this is partly my fault for not checking beforehand, I later discovered that the practitioner is not registered with the BIAE. This is something I strongly advise others to verify before committing to treatment.

Electrolysis is a skilled and precise procedure that requires proper qualifications, experience, and professional standards. Unfortunately, this clinic did not meet them. She is super efficient and skilled - always happy to thoroughly answer any questions I have and break things down. Her expertise and warm, welcoming nature always makes me feel so comfortable and at ease, which has been so important for me as I have wanted to do these treamtments for a while but was always so nervous. Update: The clinic team has quick action towards to my complaint. The unprofessional staff has left. They also gave good discount on my lasted appointment. I felt happy to change my kind to back to this good Beaty clinic. Louisa provided me the recent treatment professional. I booked another 8 times of treatments . ———-Unprofessional and unethical. I booked an appointment of hydrate facial, but the staff did hydraO2 unprofessional for me and charged me more. It is like a trap. So unhappy experience and never went to this place again. Show less »
