I have endless complaints about this clinic—it's hard to know where to start. Bottom line: DO NOT book laser hair removal here. With so many reputable alternatives in London, there is absolutely no need to settle for a clinic with standards this low.
First, I initially went to the St John's Road branch, where the staff seemed as though they'd only just completed their laser training. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I then switched to the Clapham South branch, hoping for a better experience. However, despite emphasizing that it was important to see the same therapist each time, they ignored my request, passing me to a different person at every session.
Punctuality is non-existent here. If you’re on a tight schedule, forget it—appointments regularly run late. Staff show no interest in managing time, so don’t expect a quick and efficient appointment. On one occasion, they even cut my session short (and I had to come back the same day) because they were so behind. If that’s not unprofessional, I don’t know what is.
At first, I was treated by a skilled clinician, but after that, it felt like they were rotating whoever was available, regardless of skill or knowledge. No one asked about my progress, results, or even basic satisfaction—just a conveyor belt of random people.
The most recent issue was a complete lack of flexibility and an astonishing display of poor customer service. I had accidentally fake-tanned for a black-tie event the night before my appointment, so I called the clinic an hour before to ask if I could still go ahead. Not only did they say I couldn’t, but they refused to cancel my session and told me I'd simply lose it. They then flatly advised me not to bother calling customer service because I'd be put on hold and then redirected right back to the clinic. A clinic actively discouraging customers from calling their own customer service line says it all. Clearly, they know they’re offering terrible service.
In my opinion, this clinic doesn’t belong on Abbeville Road, a place known for reputable, customer-focused businesses that serve the community. This is a large, impersonal chain that lacks empathy, professionalism, and basic customer care. Avoid it and instead seek a clinic with well-trained, attentive therapists who truly care about your experience.
