Unlike some of your patience, I am not at all happy with my service. I had a top denture feed which wouldn’t sit properly. Eventually it was adjusted then it broke when I got it back. I noticed the tooth that had broken wasn’t sitting properly and a dentist said oh that looks okay which I couldn’t believe,
I was also measured for a bottom denture when I got it back it wasn’t too bad couple of days later it broke whilst I was eating. I went back and was told It will be sent away for repair about 10 days later. I was called by reception to let me know my denture had arrived. I went in to pick it up and I was seen by the receptionist in the reception area again I just stood in disbelief I wasn’t even taken in to make sure that the denture fit which it doesn’t sit at all I can’t use it I was also given a note by the receptionist which Looked like it was written by a child telling me that the denture was broken outside of my mouth which is impossible unless I snapped it on purpose and if it happened again, I would be charged
anyway to be honest with you guys I will not be using your services anymore. Please take me off your database, I will find a new dentist.

I have been a patient at Smile Studio for years and have always booked private appointments. When I received an email saying they were offering NHS appointments, I booked one for my wife.

She was given four appointments. The first two went ahead, but the third appointment—which was supposed to complete her treatment—has been repeatedly postponed. It was originally scheduled for mid-June, then they called just one day before to say the dentist was “very busy” and moved it to 31 July. Although waiting another six weeks was extremely inconvenient, I accepted it. Today, they called again to postpone it until 5 August.

What disappointed me most was the way the call was handled. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional and seemed eager to end the conversation while I was still speaking.

I have no problem paying for private treatment and have previously had private dental work with Smile Studio, including at their Richmond branch. In fact, I was planning to have a dental implant for my wife with them. After this experience, however, they have lost my trust and my future business.

My impression is that NHS appointments are not treated with the same level of respect or priority, despite the practice being the one that offered them. Patients deserve to be treated with respect regardless of whether they are attending privately or through the NHS.

If you are going to offer NHS appointments, you should honour them and treat those patients with the same professionalism and consideration as everyone else. Show less »

I expect my friend new porcelain village veneer to look Rolls-Royce and perfect with the rest of my teeth with that beautiful glowing smile!! I can't wait for the results. My mother began denture treatment at The Smile Studios in Heston on 12 December 2025 and was told her dentures would be ready for fitting on 5 January 2026. Unfortunately, this turned into nearly three months of repeated appointments with no proper resolution.

At every visit, the dentures required “major adjustments,” and she was told to return the following week. This cycle continued throughout January and February. When she finally received them, they were still falling out while she spoke. She was advised to use glue instead of being provided with properly fitted dentures despite paying in full for the treatment.

The dentures also cut the inside of her mouth and caused significant discomfort. She was asked to attend yet another appointment to be shown how to remove them safely, but after arriving early and waiting 45 minutes (25 minutes past her appointment time), the dentist simply removed them, handed them back to her, and told her to speak to reception. No guidance was given, and her concerns were not addressed.

This experience has had a serious impact on her wellbeing. She missed work repeatedly for appointments that achieved nothing, resulting in lost income. For over eight weeks she could not eat normal food and had to rely on soft meals. Over Christmas she felt embarrassed and avoided family gatherings because she was self-conscious about her mouth.

Dentures should not take this long to complete as other dentist have stated houdl be no more than 6 weeks, and they certainly should not require adhesive simply to stay in place if correctly done. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of care, communication, and accountability shown.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this practice.
