I attended a consultation at London Cosmetic Clinic and unfortunately left feeling disappointed with the professionalism and organisation of the experience.
I arrived 10 minutes early for my 12:45 appointment to complete a medical history form. While handing me the form, the receptionist asked, in front of others in reception, “Is it this?” while gesturing towards a tiny skin coloured mole on my face. This was inappropriate and unnecessary, particularly as I was not attending regarding my face. Comments about a client’s appearance should not be made publicly.
I was not seen until 13:35 - almost a full hour after my scheduled appointment. While I understand delays can happen, I was told I was next to be seen, yet another patient was taken before me and staff appeared to break for lunch during this time. The delay cost me as I could not make a paid commitment later that afternoon.
The consultation itself was rushed. There was only a brief visual glance at the area of concern, with no physical examination, measurements, or photographs taken during the appointment. I had to prompt for information about treatment options, number of sessions likely required, and expected outcomes. At reception a photo had to be taken to add to my file once it became apparent that the doctor had missed this during the consultation. I also received inconsistent information between the doctor and reception regarding treatment protocol and pricing.
The overall impression was of a business-led service rather than a patient-centred, dermatology-focused consultation. Due to the lack of transparency, professionalism, and organisation, I did not feel confident proceeding with treatment here. Show less »

I am so happy I found this clinic. Since I got inside until I left the staff was so kindly and I felt like I was before there. The doctor helped me with the correct treatment for my needs. She was listening to my worries and she tried to give me more advice. Natasha was there to explain me how to use the creams . Everyone was so nice . Thank you so much lad... Show more »

Exceptional experience with Dr Salina Johnson and her team

I recently had a consultation with Dr Salina Johnson at her Harley Street clinic, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of professionalism, honesty, and warmth shown by both Dr Johnson and her staff.

Dr Johnson took the time to carefully assess my skin, explain my options clearly, and most importantly, listen to my concerns and preferences. I never felt rushed or pressured into any treatment. Her approach was thoughtful, conservative, and tailored specifically to my needs, which gave me a great deal of confidence in her expertise.

What stood out most was her openness to discussion — she welcomed informed questions and made the consultation feel collaborative rather than transactional. The clinic staff were equally professional, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience relaxed and reassuring from start to finish.

Treatment:

I had a terrible experience with Botox at this clinic which has led to what seems to be permanent bruising/scarring between my eyebrows, and lingering headaches for a full 8 months at this point. (Long past the point that any side effects should have resolved.) After enquiring multiple times about why this happened, I found that Dr Johnson had injected me with something other than the toxin I had specifically requested, which I find to be shockingly unprofessional. I have never received any further info as to why I might have permanent damage from this Botox- whether it was the injection technique or counterfeit product. I give them 1-star for finally refunding my payment for this treatment which I am grateful for, but sadly once you are permanently scarred from a treatment, there is no way back... Show less »

Since I recently had another surgery, they advised me to check with my surgeon first about whether I could have scar revision pre post-op. This place is awful with time management, every appointment I had with Dr Johnson I would get a phone call a couple of hours before by one of her receptionists asking me to come another day or do a different time despite already being on my way. You shouldn’t book patients in if you can’t commit to a time, it seems like the Dr is always desperate to go home... Show more »

The Dr was also not very personable and consultations would last less than 5 minutes however the nurse was friendly. I will take my money elsewhere and would not recommend LCC, it’s disappointing that my keloid has not been resolved despite spending a lot of money. Show less »

I had my nose filler dissolved in Thailand and was not happy of the shape it left me with as my nose isn’t even and bends towards one side more. I desperately needed help and I chose to go to Dr. Salinda as she’s a well respected doctor with articles on magazines such as Cosmopolitan. I can’t thank Dr. Salinda enough for her help!
