After 15+ years of feeling very self conscious about my under-eye bags, and trying everything else, I finally accepted they were genetic (thanks, Dad!) and that surgery was the only real solution.
After LOTS of research and recommendations, I booked a consultation with Mr Marando at STAR Clinic. He was professional, honest, understanding and reassuring — clearly explaining the procedure, recovery and realistic results. His calm, thorough and transparent approach made me feel completely confident and at ease.
I decided to have both upper and lower blepharoplasty, and the care from the whole STAR team was outstanding - from consultation to aftercare. Also the nursing care during my surgery was amazing.
Almost 4 weeks on, with a little concealer, you’d never know I’d had surgery! And I know this is still early days.
The results are transformational - I feel confident, refreshed, and like myself again, no longer hiding under glasses I don’t need to wear.
