I highly recommend Sylvia, I have been coming to her on and off for over ten years to get botox now and again. She is medically trained so have I total faith for her to inject me. I have tried going to someone cheaper but I never get the same effect as they put less products in and need to go back 3 or 4 times and this isnt ideal when someone is injecting y... Show more »
I highly recommend Sylvia, I have been coming to her on and off for over ten years to get botox now and again. She is medically trained so have I total faith for her to inject me. I have tried going to someone cheaper but I never get the same effect as they put less products in and need to go back 3 or 4 times and this isnt ideal when someone is injecting your face. I recently had a chemical skin peel with sylvia called the perfect peel, it wasn't painful at all and was so quick and easy to do. Proper after care is needed and I did have a week off work as I am a receptionist, I think I would of scared our customers haha, you start to peel on day 3 and this will peel for a week after that maybe a little longer. I do sit in the sun alot in the summer and someone who used alot of sunbeds so I have quite a bit of sun damage to my face. 1 peel has helped my skin no end and plan another one before winter is over as I feel it will give me even better results. Sylvia is medically trained so I have total faith in her and she will not promise you something she feels isnt achievable. She is a lovely lady , makes you feel very relaxed. Show less »

I would not recommend using Sylvia as when I informed her that the areas she'd injected Botox were not freezing, she said it was due to my age - she informed me of this after injecting the one area 3 times over 3 visits within 3 months. After visiting another business and having the same areas injected, the areas froze within a couple of days. So, it was not... Show more »

After visiting another business and having the same areas injected, the areas froze within a couple of days. So, it was nothing to do with my age. I am very happy with the business I go to now and the price is the same. THIS REVIEW IS NOT FAKE! I trusted Sylvia. I was feeling low due to facial lines and she came across as a very caring person but it doesn't appear that she is. Making as much money as she can is obviously more important. Show less »

Sylvia is absolutely lovely, she makes you explain in lots of detail what you want so she can make you as happy as possible and asks questions to clarify, she really is amazing and I couldn’t be happier, will never go to anyone else!!

None of the two areas (frown lines and crow's feet) froze after my initial appointment with Sylvia. At the two week review, she injected some more botox into the crow's feet - and still no change. I went to Sylvia again a few weeks later and informed her of my concerns; at this, she said that it was due to my age and then proceeded to put more botox into the... Show more »

I went to Sylvia again a few weeks later and informed her of my concerns; at this, she said that it was due to my age and then proceeded to put more botox into the crow's feet for a 3rd time. Still no change. After 3 months, I tried another business; I informed them of my previous experience with Sylvia, had botox in the 3 areas and the areas froze. Lots of bruising at Serene Aesthetics but none from the business I go to now as she uses a different type of needle for injections. Even though Sylvia comes across as very pleasant, I would not recommend her. Show less »

Sylvia is super nice and knowledgeable, being an experienced medical practitioner you feel totally at ease. Neither my mum nor I would go anyplace else for treatments as we've been coming here for years and are always blown away with our results. If you are considering getting any type of aesthetic treatment, you should absolutely go with serene aesthetics.... Show more »

If you are considering getting any type of aesthetic treatment, you should absolutely go with serene aesthetics. You will be glad that you did since Sylvia is a fantastically honest woman, which is something that I find to be very refreshing since upselling tends to be rampant in this industry. She genuinely cares about her clients, which we love! Definitely the best spot in town. Show less »

Sylvia is really lovely and offers a very professional service. She is happy to answer all questions and gives really honest and detailed advice. She is really knowledgable and very welcoming and patient. With Sylvia being a qualified nurse, you know you are in the best possible hands. Can’t recommend Serene Aesthetics enough!
