I initially booked with Kev because I wanted someone who truly understood the male face and the unique dynamics of male aesthetics. My goal was to enhance my features while still looking masculine, rather than ending up with a feminised result.

From the very beginning, Kev was exceptional. His knowledge is outstanding, and he took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer every question I had, and discuss all of the different options and considerations with me. I never felt rushed or pressured. The whole experience was incredibly calming, with a real luxury med-spa feel, and I felt comfortable throughout.

What really stood out to me is that Kev doesn’t just focus on the physical treatment. He takes a genuinely holistic approach, considering you as a whole person - your goals, confidence, personality, lifestyle and how you want to present yourself. It never felt like he was simply trying to achieve a cosmetic outcome; it felt like he was helping me become the best version of myself in a way that suited me.

My only reservation beforehand was seeing a new practitioner, as I’d had limited experience outside of one I’d used previously. However, Kev’s professionalism, extensive knowledge and medical background in dentistry quickly put me at ease, and I felt completely reassured that I was in safe hands.

I travelled from Leeds for my appointment, and it was absolutely worth the journey. I’ll definitely be continuing my aesthetics journey with Kev because I genuinely feel he understands both me and what I’m trying to achieve. From the moment we first spoke on social media, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly reassuring thtoughout the video consultation and then again face-to-face during my procedures, he made me feel completely at ease with his calming demeanour and approachable personality.

He took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxed. It was very person centred. There was no rush. It didnt feel like a conveyor belt like alot of asthetics clinics. He’s genuinely such a nice guy — chatty, happy, and easy to talk to — which made a huge difference to my confidence going into the treatment.

I have been following House of Ikigai on social media for a few weeks. I spoke with Dr Kev through TikTok which he replied to almost instantly. We then arranged a video call which we did last night. I spoke about my worries and fears about having treatment and it was advised that I go into the clinic for a face to face consultation so Dr Kev could see me in person and help with these.
Oh my goodness, I’m so glad I did go to see him today. My husband drove me to the clinic and was invited in to the treatment room with me. I was so glad to have my husband there as I knew I would forget some of the questions I had.
Dr Kev was so welcoming and friendly. He put me at ease the minute I walked in to the treatment room. He talked me through his work ethic and straight away I knew he was a passionate practitioner who was there, not just to do what I thought I wanted but to do what I needed to achieve the best outcome. I felt comfortable straight away and asked if I could get the treatments he advised there and then. He was so knowledgeable about what I required. He explained everything so diligently to me in a way that I was not expecting but that made so much sense.
I told him my fears as I had not had treatment like this done before. I didn’t know what to expect. Everything was explained to me and that it would be done at my pace.
I can now say that I would never have the worries and fears ever again that I had prior to today. I walked out the clinic after having everything he advised for me. I don’t have a good pain threshold but honestly the work I had was virtually painless. So much so I had it done in one sitting. The before and after photos he took of me were astounding. I don’t look like a different me, I look the same me but much fresher and my features look much more proportional. I’m so looking forward to people saying I look so well and not asking if I have had work done, like I was worried about.

Kev is really friendly and professional. I wasn’t rushed in, or pushed out. I wasn’t pressured into having more treatments, I wasn’t judged, told what my flaws were or how he felt I could improve. He just listened to me, He asked what I was looking for and what my expectations were and together we worked out what to do.. After giving me all the information, i was able to make an informed choice. I felt that Botox was the right treatment. Kev explained about the treatment and I was happy to go ahead with it and booked in my treatment.

On the day of my treatment, I met Kev again, and just like my consultation, It wasn’t rushed. I was a little nervous and I’m not great with needles, so before Kev gave me the Botox, he guided me through the process (just like he did at the consultation) and answered ALL my questions AGAIN. He also took the time to reassure me that everything will be fine. He was right, it was nothing like I was expecting. Completely painless. I just followed his instructions.

I’m very happy with the results and I would definitely go back for more treatments. Kev is great and his team and all so nice. They looked after me from start to finish and I can’t fault their service.

Kevin was great and spoke through the whole procedure in lots of detail and ensured I was comfortable with all that he was about to do. He gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions. He gave advice on what he thought would work well but did not put any pressure to have any of it at the time of consultation or at all. Overall I was very happy with the results and he has made my face look more refreshed and less tired.
