Amazing experience from start to finish!

I found a mole on my back that I noticed had grown, so I went to see my GP. He sent off pictures to Dermatology for review.

I received no contact other than a telephone appointment for a pre op and an electronic letter stating I had a queried early melanoma.

I panicked at the lack of clarity and treatment plan, so contacted Freyja Medical to see if they could help.

They were fantastic and provided me with a quote to have the mole removed and sent for pathology. The appointment was super quick and I had the procedure done two days later.

The whole team were wonderful. Dr Dean made me feel very at ease during the procedure and clearly explained everything that I was having done.

I waited just over a week for my results (it was a bank holiday weekend) vs the estimated 6-8 weeks with the NHS.

Thankfully no further action was required.

I would 100% recommend for any skin concerns, and will definitely use again in the future. Show less »

I was seen by Dr James Dean, he prescribed me steroid cream for 7 days and a cleanser as well as not using any fragrance for my eczema. Within 2-3 days my skin was cleared up, no redness, no itchiness and no dry flakes or bleeding. We saw Dr James Dean today, during what has been an extremely stressful and emotional time, as I was seeking clarity around a possible diagnosis for my young daughter.

From the outset, he was calm, professional and highly reassuring. He combined clear medical expertise with a compassionate and thoughtful approach, taking the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. This helped to significantly ease the anxiety I had been carrying into the appointment.

His manner inspired confidence and created a sense of trust at a moment when reassurance was deeply needed.
By the end of the consultation, I felt a genuine sense of relief and much greater clarity about the situation.

It also made a real difference to be able to access a private appointment relatively quickly, rather than facing a long wait through the GP route, especially given the level of concern involved.
For any parents considering this option, it is also worth knowing that this is not just an aesthetics clinic, it is run by highly qualified medical doctors who provide genuine medical care and support.
We would not hesitate and wholeheartedly book with Dr James Dean again in the future, should the need arise, and can do so with full confidence in his expertise and approach.
I am very grateful for his professionalism, empathy and the supportive way he handled both the clinical and emotional aspects of the visit.

I visited Freyja Medical in October 2025 for a consultation about upper Blepharoplasty with Dr. Will, we spoke about the proceedure and what it all involved, he didnt push anything upon me and i felt so comfortable with him and decided yes i will go ahead with the surgery.
On December 10th 2025 I had my Blepharoplasty and Dr Will knew i was feeling nervous, he said it was natural but we went on to do the surgery and im so glad I did, he was exceptional in his manner and made me feel comfortable and confident in him, the nurse who accompanied him was lovely and took pictures of before and after.
The whole staff at Freyja Medical were so polite and friendly, all very professional, and the ambience of the surgery itself was so calming.
Would recommend Freyja Medical to anyone thinking of visiting.

I came to him privately for the removal of skin cancer from my top lip — a delicate and complex area that required not only surgical precision but deep anatomical knowledge and a careful, considered approach. From the first consultation, it was clear that Mr. Allen brings not only years of experience as a facial surgeon but also a calm confidence that immediately puts you at ease.
I’ve had several local anaesthetics in the past, and every one of them had gone wrong — experiences that left me anxious and full of dread. But Mr. Allen’s approach was completely different.
