Bayside Fitness is, overall, an okay gym. The equipment is decent, the space is acceptable, and most importantly, the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. They create a welcoming atmosphere and are always willing to assist, which is something I truly appreciate.
However, there is a serious issue that keeps dragging the experience down. A noticeable number of members consistently leave weights on machines after finishing their sets or simply fail to return equipment to its proper place. This makes it frustrating and time-consuming for others who actually want to train properly and have to waste time searching for missing weights.
Even worse, there seems to be a small group—maybe around 5% of the members—who behave like they’re above everyone else. They clearly don’t care about gym etiquette or other people using the space. The level of disrespect is obvious, and honestly, it’s hard not to notice how inconsiderate they are.
Why is this allowed? Where are the rules or their enforcement? At times, the gym feels like a jungle rather than a structured training environment.
If Bayside Fitness implemented stricter rules and actually enforced them, this place could be much better. Right now, it has good potential, but it’s being undermined by a lack of discipline among certain members.
