I though long and hard before doing this review. That's only because Zoee and Elisa were lovely. I had botox in Oct 2021 at the salon. I'm writing the review now as I have just now after almost 2 years got the confidence to have botox done again at a different salon. The first botox appointment was done by Elisa and everything was great, she listened to what I wanted. The second top-up (after 2 weeks) was conpleted by Dee and my wishes and thoughts were not listened to. I was clear that I do not want a frozen look and just want to prevent wrinkles and get one of the wrinkles on my forehead go away. She didn't listen and I know this as 3 days later my eyebrows dropped. My eyes went from almond "cat eyes" like I had hooded eyelids. To make it worse, when I called to tell them and I came in to be seen, they told me "it looks better, more feminine ". Maybe I failed to mention I won a few miss competitions in my life and used to model so I'm pretty sure I know the standards of beauty and hooded eyelids are not it. I was made to think it was maybe the way I reacted to the treatment but I now know that is not true as I have found another salon where they did exactly what I wanted without dropping my eyebrows. The only reason i am leaving 3* instead of 1* considering how my confidence disappeared for 3 months is because of Elisa doing an amazing job and being lovely. I won't go into further details about other things that really bothered me. Zoee did check-up on me as I was distraught by the whole sitiation. I want to share this as people need to know and lesson need to be learned about listening to your clients wishes. Dee even told me "everyone else would be very happy with the frozen look"- sure, if you're after that look or 60yo, I'm neither. Otherwise, the salon is nice, clean and welcoming but please, make sure you are listened to! I was never even offered by money back after this mess so after spending a decent amount at the salon for me and my mom, I didn't return after this happened. Show less »
