I went to Rita Rakus over a year ago to have skin tightening on my face and arms I was told the treatment that Rita would do on my face would last 2 years I had to go back for more radio frequency as my jaw line and lower part of my face did not respond well the treatment it certainly hasn’t even lasted a year. As for my arms I was told there would definately be an improvement there has been none. I also had cool sculpting on my flanks there was know improvement at all . I kept going back to the clinic complaining that the treatments were not working we sat down and looked at the before and after pictures in which Rita agreed there was no improvement . I have written to Rita on several occasions and she has not responded to my emails. I have asked for a refund as I feel with No improvement I should get my money back .

I had a deeply disappointing experience with the Rita Rakus Clinic. I was originally quoted a price for three sessions of Advatx laser treatment. This quote was clearly documented in writing and reflected the limited area I was treating (a small area on my cheek). I paid in full for the three sessions at the end of the first session

A few hours before the second session, I was suddenly told the quoted price was actually per session—a fourfold increase—despite having clear email correspondence confirming the original agreement. I reiterated the limited scope of treatment and was then verbally reassured at the start of my second appointment that the previously agreed price would still apply. Yet at the end of the session, I was pressured into paying again the new price in a public setting, leaving me with no opportunity to properly challenge it.

I followed up multiple times by email over several weeks requesting a refund. I received a single voicemail and a delayed email response saying the matter would be "escalated," but nothing further was done. For a clinic presenting itself as professional and medically led, this was an appalling way to treat a patient—no accountability, no follow-up, and no respect for basic consumer rights.

I regret trusting this clinic and would strongly caution others against doing so. Show less »
