Went to West Quay for dinner but where to go? After traipsing around most of the restaurants offered fast food style offerings but we wanted something a little bit more in terms of value for money. In the end we found Cosmo a buffet style restaurant offering a wide variety but with an emphasis on Asian food. Excellent and of course we could eat as much as we wanted and all for £21.99 per person. Great place but beware they close at 21.30 during the week Show less »

Southampton 🇬🇧

Really like this shopping mall. One of my favourite shopping malls in the UK.
Lots of shops and places to eat, plus a big M&S and a huge John Lewis & Waitrose. Modern, clean, and loads of parking. Good sales on in many shops throughout the year.

Visited Eds diner this morning for a breakfast and a coke float 😍 haven't had one of those since I was a kid! One of our favourite breakfast spots, tasty, good quality items on the breakfast and lots of different choices. Also love they actually have English breakfast tea 🙌🏻

Good shopping centre, with everything you could possibly need, seems to often be working on the escalators, possibly just due to the amount of use and amount of people that visit. Always clean and tidy with lots of shopping options and numerous food shops on its own level. Has a huge M&S and John Lewis and has walk through access to IKEA.

The mall itself is okay but be aware if you’re driving there, you will have to stay in queue for 40-50 mins just to get out of the parking lot. DO NOT PAY RIGHT AFTER GETTING BACK TO YOUR CAR. Drive ahead and check for the congestion and then pay online with your car to avoid extra charges.

So much variety. The mall is clean and lots of parking. We were there during Christmas shopping and some customer service was slow in a couple stores, but understandable due to high traffic. Always nice to visit when I'm in the area. Thank you!

Visiting from out of town so was expecting to be thrilled by this place. I was wrong. Like most large scale shopping complexes it has all the usual American chains you can see anywhere. It is clearly trying too look more up market by having the likes of Rayban in little stalls dotted around the place but I could get any of the same thing down the road in Cascades Portsmouth. The Food court is deficient of seating. It cannot host the number of people that want to eat there so don't expect to sit and enjoy your food. I was unfortunate enough to drop my large Coke while walking to the toilet. It went everywhere over me and the floor. Not a single staff member was around to seek help to ensure nobody slipped in it. I asked a lady in the Pizza Hut and she just said someone should be there and pointed me towards a rubbish station that had some tissue. I cleaned it up myself but maybe I should have left it and let someone slip so they could sue. I also don't understand the layout of the escalators. I have to go up one, walk almost the entirety of the place just to get to the next one. Show less »

The location is super convenient too, right in the heart of Southampton and close to the train station. It always feels safe, well looked after, and there’s a really nice atmosphere. Definitely the place to go if you’re in Southampton and want everything in one spot. Show less »

The shopping centre is very good, but oh my goodness....the new car park payment system they have introduced....scan and visit a site, then enter your reg, then pay with your card via the site. All great if there's a signal and the site can cope...as the 50 or so people milling at the exit about the experience as they wrestled with their phones....then, you really need to go straight to your car: the traffic lights phasing on the main road outside meant that I only just cleared the exit barrier within the 15 minutes one is allowed after paying. There’s a solid mix of high street staples, big-name brands, and the occasional niche store, so there’s something for everyone.

The centre itself is really well-kept—clean, spacious, and easy to get around. The signage is clear, which helps, but it’d be nice to see a few more electronic signs dotted around for real-time info or directions.

Only real heads-up is to time your visit well. There’s no park and ride in Southampton, so parking can be a bit of a pain if you hit it at a busy time. Show less »
