My wife had surgery here today. She was greeted by Teresa on reception who was lovely. Nurse Celia took care of all the pre op details, she was calm understanding and extremely helpful. My wife had surgery here today.
She was greeted by Teresa on reception who was lovely.
Nurse Celia took care of all the pre op details, she was calm understanding and extremely helpful.
The surgery was carried out by consultant Mr Sawyer and assisted by 2 lovely nurses who's name unfortunately we can't remember.
All the team gave first class care, and a very welcome coffee and biscuits was provided afterwards.
The clinic was very clean and comfortable, and we would highly recommend it. Show less »

I was referred here by the NHS for a local wide excision on a nodular and infiltrative basal cell carcinoma. The BCC was on my temple and was initially quite large (Pt3). I was apprehensive about the scar- having seen people with smaller BCCs having quite prominent scarring after their procedures.
Miss Jessop performed the excision and I'm really pleased with the result. She explained everything comprehensively in a way I could understand. Miss Jessop has worked wonders in removing all of the BCC, and four months later the scar isn't too noticeable. She was concerned about a few other patches on my face so wrote to my GP asking for them to prescribe flourouracil cream for these areas.
My follow up was with Mr Measuria. He was very polite and explained everything thoroughly. I really appreciated how he explained everything to reassure me. He also treated a possible are of actinic keritosis around the original excision.
I feel as if the service provided by Miss Jessop, Mr Measuria and all of the other staff at Cotswold Surgical Partners was exceptional. I think that both surgeons went above and beyond in their care for me and I cannot praise them enough. Show less »

Excellent Care and Reassuring Experience

I was referred to Cotswold Surgical Partners via the NHS for a biopsy on a growth on my leg. From arrival through to discharge, the experience was exceptional.

The environment was welcoming and friendly, and the staff made me feel completely at ease throughout. They took the time to explain each step of the process, which was incredibly reassuring during what could have been a stressful time.

I came out feeling really disappointed as I felt I hadn't been listened to. It was £250 for a 30 minute appointment, of which only 17 minutes were used! I have small mark that has appeared on my wrist, it is minor but it bothers me. I have tried all the usual things to help get rid of it but no luck. I have small mark that has appeared on my wrist, it is minor but it bothers me. I have tried all the usual things to help get rid of it but no luck. I have been to my GP but obvously resources are stretched so there wasnt much she could offer me to help. I have also generally been getting dryer skin than my usual due to menopause, so I was hopeful for some professional advice rather that getting caught up in advice that is so prolific on social media. Which is why I chose a private dermatologist.

While the Dr in himself was perfectly fine, and seems like a nice man. I felt he didn't listen to me. He said the mark on my arm was because it itches and I have been scratching it. This is not the case, and when I said I don't itch or scratch, he said I did and the marks on my arm in general were eczema, again I said they weren't, they were scars/marks from gardening. He still insisted I had eczema. He gave me a list of things I could try on the mark my arm, most of them I had tried, but by that point I had given up trying to tell him I had tried most of those things. Over all I felt my worries were dismissed and that I shouldn't have bothered. It was a waste of time and money and I fell no better informed. Show less »
