Great technician (Agnieszka), but be prepared for the sales process.

I’ve just started a course of laser hair removal at the Edinburgh clinic. While it’s too early for results, the technical side is impressive—they are one of the few clinics in Edinburgh that use medical-grade Cynosure lasers (gold standard technology) and the prices are very competitive.

The Consultation
Be aware that the consultation is more of a sales pitch. I was steered toward a 10-session package (packages for 3 and 6 sessions are also available but you may have to ask for that). There was also a mandatory £39.95 charge for skin products not clearly mentioned on the online price list, which felt a bit non-transparent.

The Treatment
I was quite anxious, but Agnieszka was fantastic. She was professional, highly diligent with safety (moles/eye protection), and adjusted the laser settings to suit my sensitive skin. She completely put me at ease. I found it almost painless and was left with no redness at all after the first session. If you go here, I highly recommend asking for her.

Overall, Therapie offers excellent value and I've had a great experience with my treatment so far, but do your research on packages beforehand and factor in the extra cost of products. Show less »

I want to especially mention Assistant Manager Pauline and Amara — they have been incredibly helpful throughout my visits. Pauline is warm, professional, and very knowledgeable. She clearly explained every step of the treatment, checked my skin type, and guided me on what results to expect. Amara was equally supportive and made sure I felt relaxed and confident during the session. Their patience, communication, and friendly attitude really stood out.

During the treatment, they consistently checked my comfort level and adjusted the settings to suit my sensitivity, which I appreciated a lot. Even though I visited during my period, they ensured everything was hygienic and that I felt completely at ease. The procedure was quick, efficient, and a lot less painful than I expected.

They also took time to explain the aftercare — what to apply, what to avoid, and how my skin might react. Their professionalism made a big difference, and it shows they genuinely care about their clients’ comfort and results.

I had full body and face 10 sessions each After my sessions, I’ve already started seeing amazing results: reduced growth, smoother skin, and longer gaps between regrowth. Thérapie Clinic has excellent staff, modern equipment, and a very high standard of service.

I had my first laser hair removal session at Thérapie Clinic – St. James and couldn't be happier. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Everything was clearly explained — from what to expect during the session to aftercare tips — and I felt like I was in very capable hands.

The clinic itself is clean, modern, and has a really calm atmosphere. The laser treatment was surprisingly quick and virtually painless (way better than I expected for a first-timer). My therapist was super friendly and really made the experience comfortable and stress-free.
