Very disappointing and concerning experience.
I paid £180 for a cryotherapy appointment that lasted no more than five minutes. During the procedure, the doctor openly stated that the canisters were not working properly — all three she attempted to use appeared faulty. Despite this, the appointment proceeded as though treatment had been administered.
I was informed that verrucas should blister following cryotherapy and that it would likely be painful to walk afterwards. However, I experienced no blistering, no discomfort, and no visible change at all. Given the issues with the equipment, it appears that the cryotherapy was not effectively performed due to faulty canisters, yet I was still charged in full and did not receive the standard of care I paid for.
I was then advised that it “may not work” and told to return in two weeks for another session, which would incur an additional charge. Under the circumstances, this is unacceptable.
Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this clinic. Show less »

Thank you so much Dr Buchi Nzekwue for such an insightful consultation. You were welcoming, helpful, funny, and professional all at the same time.

It’s amazing to feel heard especially by a doctor, and I definitely felt heard. I left feeling hopeful and it was such a great start to my Friday and weekend.

I have had several appointments with Dr Buchi, and from the very first session I felt truly seen and heard. She welcomed me warmly, took the time to understand my concerns, and never made me feel rushed, unlike my experience elsewhere. Dr Buchi treated me with deep respect, as though I were family, and made it clear there was no issue too small or too big to discuss. After each appointment she provided clear, detailed summaries with thoughtful recommendations, treatment plans, and referrals when necessary. Dr Buchi Nzekwue is absolutely amazing!! She was attentive, thorough, and non-judgmental. She truly, truly listened to me - which may seem simple, but makes all the difference. I had such a positive experience at the Blackwell clinic! Dr Buchi Nzekwue was warm, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. I felt completely reassured throughout my visit and it was clear that my concerns were genuinely listened to and understood. I met with Dr Daw to discuss some lesions on my skin. She explained the options for treatment clearly, and was able to accommodate me quickly for an appointment for surgical removal. Dr Ama was wonderful and really took time to understand my needs. I found the clinic to be consistently caring and professional when guiding me through the best options for my health. Her dietary and slimming clinic is amazing and I would highly recommend this lovely caring clinic and staff!

I saw Dr Syeeta Daw who was absolutely amazing. She was really informative and explained everything in detail. I had a lot of questions and she answered them all and gave me the next steps to regaining my hair density. I knew I made the right decision by seeing her!

I had a wonderful experience with the Blackwell Clinic in Bromley. I have been struggling with hair loss for years and hadn’t had any success with other doctors, but Dr Syreeta Daw was excellent and so helpful. She provided all the information I needed and made sure I understood all the potential causes and treatments. I would definitely recommend!

The clinic and staff are first class. kind caring and very professional.
I had a shave biopsy by the Dermatologist Dr Daw assisted by Thelma. Quick easy painfree.

The only complaint and hence not 5 stars is the parking. If you need treatment avoid Saturday mornings!!

The receptionist recommended we book at 30 min initial appointment as we had two issues to discuss. We were able to book one quickly (for a few days away). The GP was very thorough in asking questions about the two issues and was very clear in his diagnosis/suggestions for what we do next. I would use them again.

My husband saw Dr Buchi Nzekwue today for a consultation and it was an absolutely lovely experience. She’s incredibly thorough, personable, caring and attentive. Seeing a doctor, especially urgently, is never fun but she made both of us feel calm and taken care of.
