I was incredibly nervous as I’d had a bad experience at the dentist as a child.
I had been for regular check ups when my children were at home but after, I stopped attending regularly.
It has been many years that I haven’t been for a check up and I reluctantly went as a bit of an old filling had broken, and I didn’t want to get toothache.
From arriving in reception I was made to feel welcomed and relaxed.
My initial appointment was to see what was required and the dental nurse made me feel incredibly relaxed and whispered in my ear that Mr Shah was very good and I had nothing to worry about.
She wasn’t wrong ☺️
A plan was made, 1 hygienist visit, followed by 2 appointment for fillings.
I was dreading the Hygienist appointment as I have sensitive teeth, but I didn’t need to worry, she was very gentle and I didn’t experience any pain at all.
Then for the first appointment for fillings, once again, I wasn’t looking forward to this but the dental nurse held my hand while I had the injection, which surprisingly was so much different from what I remembered as a child.
My treatment took around 90 minutes and I can honestly say no pain was felt at all!
2nd treatment day, was another 90 minute appointment but because of my previous experience with Mr Shah I was less anxious, again injections were given ( I didn’t need my had to be held this time😆)and no pain was experienced.
I cannot recommend Crendon Dental highly enough, if like me, a previous bad experience had stopped you from getting your teeth checked regularly, then Crendon Dental are certainly the place to come to.
