I recently visited Skin by Hartley Aesthetics for my first chemical peel, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, including what to expect during the peel and the all important aftercare, which really reassured me.

It’s now been around 14 days since my treatment, and the transformation in my skin is remarkable. My complexion looks so much brighter and clearer, with a noticeable improvement in texture. I’ve struggled with dullness and uneven tone for a while, but this peel has genuinely given my skin a fresh, renewed glow.

However, my most recent visit was particularly special because of the kindness I was shown by Claire. I arrived at my appointment in tears and feeling completely humiliated after a distressing experience just moments before at The Brow Expert (located above Bentley’s Hair Salon).
Despite having a back injury, I had shown up for my eyebrow appointment with Amanda Mitchell. Not only did she refuse to accommodate my injury or even just tidy up my brows while I sat in a chair, but she also insisted on keeping my full payment and tip (£40+). I felt worthless and contemplated going home, but I am so glad I persevered and went to see Claire. The contrast was night and day. Claire immediately put me at ease and helped me onto the treatment bed despite my injury, she made the treatment seamless and comfortable. I’m only at the beginning of my skin journey, but the improvements are already visible. It costs nothing to show kindness, yet the team at Hartley Aesthetics goes above and beyond to make you feel worthy. They are the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, providing top-tier products and services. If you want to be treated with respect and receive expert care, this is the only place to go in Barnsley!
