What is HArmonyCa filler?

Cosmetic filler treatments have been widely performed for more than 20 years. Treatments are becoming increasingly safe. The two most popular filler ingredients are hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite. These are substances that naturally occur in the body. HArmonyCa is the first filler in which both ingredients are combined. This gives it a dual effect: improving the structure of the skin through the immediate lifting effect of hyaluronic acid and a long-lasting lifting effect through new collagen production stimulated by calcium hydroxyapatite.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that binds water. 1 gram of hyaluronic acid can bind up to 6 litres of water. This water binder can be made firmer or softer. A hyaluronic acid filler is fully broken down by the body over time. We now know that an A-brand hyaluronic acid filler (for example Belotero, Restylane, Juvéderm, or Aliaxin), when applied professionally by an experienced medical practitioner, is considered safe.

What is calcium hydroxyapatite?

Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa) in fillers consists of minerals also found in bones and teeth. This calcium hydroxyapatite is synthetically produced. When injected as a filler gel, it stimulates collagen and elastin production. Collagen and elastin provide firmness and elasticity to the skin and decrease as we age. With calcium hydroxyapatite, you therefore get a long-lasting stimulator for the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.

How does HArmonyCa filler work?

Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, the treatment delivers immediate results. Thanks to the calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa), long-term collagen stimulation occurs, which strengthens the skin over time. As the gel gradually disappears, it is replaced by a firm and dense collagen network, resulting in a gradual, long-lasting lift.

What are the benefits?

Doctors are convinced that products that stimulate cell renewal or cell activation to keep the skin firm and healthy are the future. HArmonyCa combines the best of both worlds: immediate results and activation of the body’s own cells.
