How long do dermal fillers last?

On average, dermal fillers last between 6 and 12 months. As they are made from hyaluronic acid—a substance naturally found in the body—they are gradually broken down over time. Some types of dermal fillers, such as certain Juvéderm® products, may provide results that last up to 18 to 24 months, depending on the treatment area and individual factors. Results vary between individuals.
