Does Botox work for sweating?

Yes. Botox injections temporarily block the nerve signals to the eccrine sweat glands, reducing sweating in the treated area—usually the underarms—by approximately 80–90%. The effect becomes noticeable after 2–7 days, peaks around week 2, and lasts on average 4–6 months (sometimes up to 12 months). After this period, a repeat treatment is needed.
