The lady who did my treatment was lovely and the treatment was nice. However, it said online it was 'no nail polish' but when I got there I was asked to pick a colour. So I had paid for it but wasn't using it. Also the treatment said 75 mins but I was in and out in under an hour. Those 2 parts were disappointing.

The receptionist always helpful and friendly, she always takes the time to make sure you have a great treatment. She is a fantastic lady and I always feel great when I leave the salon

Had a Swedish massage by Summer at Southdown Cove Spa and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Would really recommend her as a massage therapist.

The salon is really friendly. I have rececently been looked after by Gill for my eyebrow wax and tint and for regular cuticle work. Gill ways does an amazing job with my cuticles. My nails are now in the best condition I have seen them. My eyebrows are shaped really lovely too. Gill has given me great advice on making small changes that make a huge differenc... Show more »

Lovely treatments always had with Gill - she’s a master at a good gel manicure and focuses on nail health, as well as giving a super relaxing and results-driven facial. Always leave relaxed and well pampered.

I had my first hot stone treatment and it was excellent! I felt very relaxed during and after the treatment. The clinician, Summer, was professional and did a great job explaining before we started and throughout the process!

I had a hot stone massage with Holly on Sat 9th November 2024. Whilst she was nice, the treatment provided was very disappointing and to call it a massage would be an overstatement. She spent half the time walking around the table to reheat the stones, had no technique, didn't place the stones on acupressure points, applied no pressure to relieve muscle tension and appeared to be improvising as the treatment went on. I gave my feedback to her and her manager afterwards but was offered no discount, let alone a refund. What was supposed be a relaxing early birthday treat from my husband turned into a waste money and time. Needless to say I will not be coming back. Show less »

I took my mum to the Cove Spa Harpenden for a luxury pedicure on Saturday 7th Sept as a special treat for her Birthday. I'm a Complimentary therapist myself of over 15 years & usually do my mums pedicures, however we thought a change may be nice and I could treat myself. Whilst the two girls were lovely, the treatments provided were no where near worth the cost or time we spend in the salon. No hard skin was removed, no cuticle 'repair' was completed (cuticle was still left on my nailbed etc) the hot booties we were put in were ripped & cold & the polish was too thick and dried bumpy & curdled. I requested a refund to my original payment method from the salon due to the treatment not being as described which as a consumer you are well within your right to do and receive, however all they keep offering is a gift voucher to use within 3 months, something myself & my mum do not want as i can't imagine the treatments being of higher quality in any other of their branches. To say i am disappointed is an understatement & I will not be visiting this salon or any of their branches again. Show less »
