I have been coming to this clinic with my family for a very long time and this is the second time that I’m having a serious problem here recently. The first was when I had porcelain applied to my tooth which needed to be filed. I was flying the next day and I called immediately to let them know that my tongue was being cut by a shard of porcelain in my mouth. They would not give me a time to correct this before my flight and eventually having cancelled everything that day they squeezed me in with Dr Nikki. I found that very unprofessional that they wouldn’t correct the mistake and I had to move everything around for them.
Secondly, a month ago, I went for a hygienist appointment and Dr Nikki was trying to make me have x rays even though I had xrays abroad recently and they were fine, so I declined. She then started cleaning my teeth without giving me any clothes protection so my Prada jacket was getting splashed, until I asked them to do something. There was no care for me or my comfort. She was heavy handed, though during previous times she was more controlled and calm. My mouth was full of blood from such a rough clean (this doesn’t happen normally and I was concerned about the bleeding as I am diabetic) I called the next day as my mouth was still bleeding and there was blood on my toast and my pillow case - my gum was inflamed and there was now a large hole between two of my teeth - I was advised salt water by the receptionist but again I was disappointed that she did not reach out after I asked the desk to let her know about the problem, especially after the mistake she made with the porcelain - it ended up being an issue for multiple weeks and I’m disappointed that after years of going to the same dentist there was no care for me.
