I paid £75 for a skin mapping consultation and, in hindsight, I didn’t feel it provided good value for money. Most of the appointment consisted of discussing diet, skincare habits, and possible causes of my skin concerns, along with some photographs and a basic cleanse. I then received an email containing much of the same information that had already been discussed during the appointment.
I was also told that specific skincare products could not be recommended and that only ingredients could be suggested. However, I was then offered a £200 skincare package, which I found confusing and somewhat contradictory. If products cannot be recommended, it wasn’t clear why a package containing products and treatments was being promoted.
For comparison, I later visited Gina G’s Beauty and paid £100. For only £25 more, I received a deep cleanse, exfoliation, and was provided with a cleanser, toner, and cream to use at home. My whiteheads have already been removed on the first session and I felt I received significantly better value and a more practical treatment.
I appreciate the time and advice given, but I personally expected more hands-on treatment and clearer guidance for the £75 consultation fee.
