From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a friendly, professional, and genuinely caring team. Dr. Carole McAlister has been incredibly understanding, compassionate, and flexible throughout my care. She takes the time to listen and has provided invaluable support with my current health concerns. Finding this level of personalised care and attention can be challenging, and I feel very fortunate to have found it here.
The reception team has also been outstanding. A special thank you to Daniel, who recently went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue with an old invoice that I had thought would be impossible to sort out. His patience, kindness, and willingness to help made a real difference.
I am truly grateful to have found GP Matters. The combination of excellent medical care and exceptional customer service makes this practice stand out, and I will certainly be returning in the future whenever I need support.

Just had my second round of Botox for migraines, lt is the best decision l ever made. So much relief from constant migraines l would recommend this treatment to anyone suffering. Dr McAlister is so lovely and takes the time to ask all the right questions so you get the best treatment.

I recently changed job and couldn't find my medical certificate so was worried I would have to book a new medical even though I still had plenty of time left before it expired. I phoned the practice and they told me to drop them an email with all my details, 10 minutes later I received an email with my certificate which still has 4 months left on it. Excell... Show more »

I booked for a blood test with this company, whist waiting for a nhs specialist appointment. Company took £100 deposit and let me make a booking then after I had made the booking, they proceeded to send me a email asking me to register requesting a lot of private information which was irrelevant to the test I just booked and quite frankly non of their busine... Company took £100 deposit and let me make a booking then after I had made the booking, they proceeded to send me a email asking me to register requesting a lot of private information which was irrelevant to the test I just booked and quite frankly non of their business.
I have ME and it took me all my energy to even make the test and I will suffer extreme PEM for even doing so, I had no intention of filling in a further form which should should be made clear before this company took my money and took the test booking I was more than happy to provided them with my name, address phone in and doctor details which quote frankly should be enough!
I did not have the energy to fill in a massive form neither was I happy to provide them all my private details when all I wanted was a blood test. As such I cancelled the appointment at the reception desk.
I find it shocking all this information is required which was not specified at the point of booking and information such as what my last GP appointment was for, how long ago it was, how much alcohol I consume is not information this company needs to be privy to just to undertaken a blood test. Highly disappointed, would not recommend. Show less »

Absolutely fabulous experience! I emailed to ask for advice and response was almost immediate from Dr Carole. My appointment was arranged within 2 days. I was quite anxious about treatment but I was put at ease straight away. My condition has reacted very well. All in all an extremely positive experience and i have no hesitation in recommending GP Matters 5... Show more »

Dr Carole has been a life saver for me with my chronic migraines that ive been having for over 5 years. My name is Irene Fraser and I have suffered from Headaches/Migraines since my teenage years.
After reading that Botox injections is an approved treatment for blocking the pain signals to the head,face and neck and helping to reduce the frequency or severity, I decided to look for a specialist or a professional Doctor.
My first visit to GP Matters Clinic was in Ocotber 2021 and I have been attending Doctor McAlister roughly every 4 months since.
I would strongly recommend Botox treatment to anyone who suffers from Headaches, Migraine or Neck Pain, especially with the reassurance you are being treated by a skilled qualified Doctor, one who I trust implicitly with a beautiful personality.
I do not stay in Glasgow anymore and travel over 200 miles to attend my appointments with Doctor McAlister, I think that alone speaks volumes. Show less »

I recently used GP Matters for a "Petronas Medical". I cannot recommend them highly enough! Great communications, nice facilities, good location (Central Glasgow) and all round excellent service. For anyone requiring a Offshore work medical (Or any other of their services) I can throughly recommend. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Excellent service provided when visiting to undergo my offshore medical assessment. The clinic was exceptionally presented and the staff were very professional and considerate.The location is well placed near the Hillhead Subway station and there are plenty of nice cafés and restaurants nearby. I will most definitely be returning in the future.

Dr McAlister, and the Practise Nurses who looked after me, Carole and Caroline were all wonderful. Putting me at complete ease through all tests required with warmth and real care.

Daniel, who coordinate all requirements from my initial inquiry, through all completed medical reports was supremely effective by every measure. Like the rest of the GP Matters Glasgow team, was also outstandingly helpful, welcoming and an assured professional. That provided essential guidance through the full process.

If you need an independent medical assessment for employment or oversea visa’s etc. don’t go anywhere else! You are in great hands with GP matters Glasgow. Show less »

I can’t recommend here enough. After 2 years of almost daily migraines, I was given Botox here and it’s totally got rid of my migraines. I’m so impressed with the service and would highly recommend Botox from here if you are a migraine sufferer
