I underwent a mini tummy tuck and laser liposuction to my stomach and flanks at Coltishall Clinic with Dr. Sanjay Gheyi, and the entire experience has been a complete failure of professional care.
First, the surgical results are entirely substandard. My flanks look completely untouched with no visible fat reduction or contour improvement. Furthermore, the heavy, loose skin abdominal overhang that the mini tummy tuck was supposed to eliminate is still fully present; it has simply been left sitting directly on top of a highly misplaced, high scar line.
Second, the clinical aftercare has been appalling and hazardous. Following surgery, the clinic did not safely manage or remove my post-operative dressings. Instead, I was instructed via text message to rip heavy surgical tape off myself at home. This dangerous instruction caused immediate trauma, tearing my skin and popping a severe blister across my upper back. When I messaged the surgeon, Dr. Sanjay Gheyi, to report the injury, he gave retrospective, useless advice to "soak it" after the tearing had already happened.
The next day, at my 2-day post-op appointment, the clinic staff showed gross incompetence. Despite seeing the raw, blistered wound on my back, they slapped a standard surgical pad directly onto it without a non-adherent barrier. The dressing predictably glued itself to the raw tissue, forcing me to painfully tear it off myself a second time at home. This repetitive negligence has left me with a severe Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injury and lasting hyperpigmentation.
To make matters worse, due to a total failure in tracking post-op care, they missed essential suture removals. A non-dissolvable surgical stitch was left behind, and my skin has now completely grown over it, leaving a foreign body deeply embedded and trapped in my abdomen.
When I raised these objective clinical failures and injuries via email with a formal deadline, Trish and Dr. Gheyi chose to completely ignore me and cut off communication. They have actively abandoned a post-operative patient with complications. I am now forced to seek independent medical care to rectify their work and surgically cut out the embedded stitch.
The clinic will almost certainly reply to this review with false claims, medical deflections, or outright lies to protect their reputation, just as they chose to hide behind silence via email. Do not be fooled by their corporate gaslighting,look directly at the horrific photographic evidence I have uploaded, which proves the exact standard of "care" you will receive here. Do not trust this clinic with your safety.
