After significant weight loss, I started to notice some facial volume loss and felt that my face no longer looked quite like “me.” I wanted a very natural result — just a subtle restoration of volume and softness — so I spent a long time researching clinics and doctors in London before booking my consultation.

After following a few pages for aesthetics, I came across Aesthetic are Clinic with Dr Khaula Safdar on Instagram. I reviewed the procedures that she carried out from the before and after images, and contacted her to discuss my concerns.

The communication from the outset is amazing, even helping with directions to the clinic as I got lost in the maze that is Moorgate 😊

From the very beginning, Dr. Khaula immediately put me at ease. Communication was excellent, she answered every question openly and honestly, and I never once felt rushed or pressured into treatments I didn’t need.

What really stood out was how conservative and thoughtful her approach was. She carefully assessed my face from multiple angles, explained that my concerns were actually less noticeable in person than they appeared in the pictures I had sent through, and reassured me that I only needed a very small amount of filler for a natural result.

The entire process was incredibly professional, calm and safe. She explained every step of the procedure, talked me through aftercare thoroughly, used numbing cream beforehand, and continually checked that I was comfortable throughout.

I especially appreciated how transparent she was about risks, aftercare and what to look out for afterwards, which made me feel genuinely looked after and in very safe hands.

I also really valued that she took time to explain other treatments properly rather than trying to “sell” them. We discussed polynucleotides for the under-eye area and she explained clearly how they work, the science behind them, and when they may be suitable in the future for me. That honesty and depth of knowledge made a huge impression on me.

Dr Khaula is fantastic!
I booked a combined consultation and treatment appointment after an initial phone chat with Dr Khaula during which she had put me at ease with her easy-going friendly disposition and quiet professionalism.
At the appointment Dr Khaula was thorough with talking through the options (without any hard sell), completion of consent forms and preparation of the patient (me!).
Dr Khaula was studious in ensuring the treatment was as comfortable as possible and let me follow the progress during the procedure with Dr Khaula frequently checking progress with me sitting up.
Nothing was rushed in any way with plenty of time allowed for local anaesthetic to take effect.
The whole process was diffused by Dr Khaula's positive nature, easy conversation and sense of humour.
Dr Khaula personally followed up the appointment with checking on me the next day which was fantastic!
Definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit!

The Botox procedure was smooth, ran on time, and I’m very pleased with the results. After the treatment, she got in touch to check how I was doing and offered a follow-up appointment to review the results.
