After years of struggling with tightness in the jaw and regular headaches and neck pains as a consequence, I have decided to find a solution. Many google searches and millions of words later I have found out that many people with bruxism found discomfort relief after botox injections for masseter muscles. Luckily, didn’t have to look far for a specialist as for years now I heard ‘Ruth’ or ‘Simply Skin Clinic’ in the same sentence as botox. Many of my friends and, in fact, my partner can do the walk to the spot in Middle Brook St on autopilot. I have braved it a month ago and my only regret is that I haven’t done it earlier. In my case, the results were immediate and every week I could feel improvements, relaxation in the muscles and less headaches. Even though this wasn’t my main focus, the aesthetic benefit of it is also very satisfying. My jaw looks slimmer and more symmetrical, so what a bonus!
