Highest Medical Treatment: it was money that held me back from having a varicose vein on my left calf treated. The NHS would not treat it. last year when money was available to me I found Adsum Aesthetics on the internet and spoke to Aga the practice manager. She was really very professional and really felt a human caring connection to the treatment described. Id not heard of the Foam Sclerotherapy treatment but thought that this was the way to proceed.

I was offered immediate treatment at the consultation / assessment stage and after a local anesthetic walked out of the door 30 minutes later continuing my days shopping in London. Done away with is the painful general anaesthetic stripping of veins.

I am now four months into the treatment, and the vein has gone and have no more tenderness /swelling but a normal healthy leg for the first time for many years. My final check up is in July, 6 months after the initial course of treatment.

I was so impressed throughout the treatment. The clinic in Upper Whimpole Street was so fantastic and personal and private. I really felt a high level of caring and consideration. Because everything was explained to me, particularly what to expect post treatment, I was able to to deal with things effectively. They gave me leaflets explaining what I may experience after the treatment.

After a three month visit to the clinic where some more treatment was effected I have enjoyed perfect health in my leg. I feel physiologically much better and can really feel a difference to my overall well being. Incredible value for the cost of treatment.

Final 6 month check up 6th July 17: Doctor Coleridge-Smith once more scanned my leg and explained all he was seeing. He did some minor treatment to complete the course.
