He is personable, engaging, exceptionally empathetic, and remarkably knowledgeable. Most importantly, he listened carefully to my concerns and took the time to answer every question we had. There were several different options and approaches available for treating my knees, and he explained each one clearly, including the advantages, limitations, and alternatives.
What impressed me most was his willingness to actually give me his medical judgment. Rather than simply laying out the options and leaving me to figure it out on my own, he told me what he would do if he were in my shoes, based on my particular circumstances and the medical evidence. That kind of thoughtful, confident guidance is surprisingly rare and enormously valuable.
Dr. Wells combines deep knowledge with the ability to translate that knowledge into a practical treatment plan that makes sense for the individual patient. I left the appointment feeling that he had truly understood my situation and had carefully thought through the best way forward.
His staff is equally impressive. Nancy is an absolute pleasure to deal with—warm, helpful, and genuinely pleasant every time she answers the phone. That professionalism and friendliness set the tone for the entire practice.
