I went for an initial consultation and Kate but me right at ease. So incredibly knowledgeable and detailed we went through everything I was concerned about. We also went through my existing skin care routine and Kate emailed through a detailed list of suggested alternatives and changes (of varying budgets) for me to look at. In prep for the first appointment I purchased some of the low-mid price range products and in just 2 weeks I had so many compliments on my skin! Wish I'd known about these products years ago! Kate had also outlined the treatment plan and indicative cost. This could be done in stages or all at once.
The holistic, natural approach was what I love about Kates focus. Working with your own natural face structure, enhancing and restoring your natural features and making the most of what you have and just slowing things down a little is what I was aiming for.
I attended the clinic about 4 days ago and was incredibly nervous. At 41 this is my first time dipping my toes into this sort of treatment. Having lost volume in my cheeks and lips and with a wedding coming up I wanted to restore some of this and hopefully some confidence but still look like myself. I opted for around 2-3ml which was distributed in the apples of my cheeks, mouth lines, lips and chin. I also had a little botox throughout my forehead to soften a very animated and often tight and pained forehead.
Kate put me completely at ease and was very encouraging and calming during the treatment. It did hurt but it was completely bearable. Essentially its needles in your face so I wasn't expecting it not to sting a little. The lips were the most sensitive area but again the pain quickly subsided. I was a little swollen on the journey home but far less than I was expecting. Kate provided aftercare advice and suggested skin care to order. All very affordable (Lip care was £7 on amazon). With each day that is passing the swelling is subsiding (although it was only slight to start) and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I've shared some photos with friends who are eager to meet Kate. I feel a lot more confident and feel like I have a little bit of the old me back. After 4 years of personal tragedy, redundancy, illness, surgery and Covid, I felt like I'd aged about 20 years. I am so glad I saw that Instagram post and look forward to seeing Kate again.
