I’ve had treatments with both Dr Ed and Skin Specialist Kate and the whole experience from start to finish has been amazing. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but they also make you feel completely at ease the second you walk in.

Dr Ed is absolutely hilarious I’m sure he trained with Kris Jenner’s surgeon because the results were that good 😂. But jokes aside, his skill and attention to detail are next level. He really listens, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you feel confident in what you’re having done.

I recently visited the clinic for the first time. I’ve always gone to a select couple of clinics in Leeds, so trying somewhere new felt a little daunting — but I can honestly say Nurse Faye is the most knowledgeable aesthetic nurse I’ve ever met.

During our consultation, she explained the anatomical reasons behind every concern I mentioned in such a clear and thorough way. She actually recommended a treatment that was less costly than one I had in mind, purely because it was the most appropriate option for me.

We also discussed potential future treatments, and she made sure I didn’t rush into anything and advised allowing the results of my current treatment to settle first and then reassessing whether anything further would be necessary.

On top of that, the clinic itself is gorgeous, chic and spotless. The reception staff were also lovely.

As I recently received a sales e-mail asking me if I would like to consider laser treatments of BBL and Moxi. However last year I paid £2000 for a course of three treatments of BBL and Moxi and feel that I have given an acceptable amount of time to review my skin integrity following this treatment. At 63 yrs and following an illness I felt my skin was tired and I was especially conscious lines above the upper lip. Therefore I arranged a consultation with DR ED who advised the above treatment, as he really believed the laser machines he had purchased pre-opening would treat the whole face. Ultimately, this would save money on smaller multiple treatments. I thought this would be a good option long term.
Kate the skin therapist was reassuring and professional for the duration of my treatment. The initial visit involved an Obaji product assessment/recommendation . Following appointments involved taking a photograph to look at improvements of the overall face. However it became clear that despite definite improve with pigmentation by the end of the second course, there was no improvement in the lip lines at all. I was asked if I would like to see DR ED again but I felt there was little point as he had recommended the treatment.

I have seen other therapists for advice. Their recommendations were for a more specific volume restoring treatment. BBl/Moxi for lip lines were not the first choice treatment. However for me, my pigmentation improved with some freckles and two age spots fading (not completely)

My overall view of this clinic is:-

Welcoming reception staff.
Kate is a well trained, knowledgeable therapist.
Obaji products are amazing but not everyone can afford them so don't feel pressured to buy them.
Finally, If a clinic has a BBL/Moxi or any other specialist laser machine there has been a huge amount of money invested in it. Show less »

I have been struggling with rosacea type 2 for around two years now and flare ups are moderate to severe.

I’ve been desperate to find something that works and felt the antibiotics and soolantra, given by my GP, was making a difference to flare up severity but I was still struggling with almost daily flare ups.

I did a lot of research and found Dr Ed Aesthetics due to the bbl laser treatment. Although I can’t have laser treatment until I finish the antibiotics, the skin specialist, Kate, has helped me with sharing her knowledge and recommending some obagi products which have already made a huge improvement to my skin, in just two weeks! My skin is almost clear, I can’t believe it.

Really recommend if you’re struggling with your skin. Lovely staff, very clean and, in general, an excellent experience.

The facial was deeply cleansing, left my skin feeling incredibly clean, soft, hydrated and refreshed. Kate tailored everything to my skin’s needs.
The LED light therapy was a new experience for me, but it was surprisingly calming. Kate explained the benefits of the red light for anti-aging, blue for acne and the results really showed. My skin looked calmer, more even, and had a healthy glow the next morning. I’ve noticed a reduction in breakouts and my overall complexion has improved. The combination of the facial and LED therapy felt like the perfect reset for my skin. I’d highly recommend Kate because she genuinely cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to deliver results while making you feel completely at ease.

Highly recommend Dr. Ed for anyone considering Botox! He is a licensed anesthetist and experienced aesthetic practitioner and very knowledgeable with the anatomy of the face. The procedure was not painful at all…and I am very pain sensitive!! And I am absolutely delighted with the results. I was conscious about a dip in my nose which has completely gone!

Since then I booked back in for a consultation around rejuvenation and decided to proceed. Again, this was painless and the results are very good without having surgery and no down time. It’s definitely worth paying for a very skilled aesthetics doctor!
