Last year I was diagnosed with a seborrheic keratosis on my face which, alongside the turmoil of menopause, completely dismantled what little self-confidence I had left. I no longer recognised myself.

After researching removal options, I knew I didn’t want to trust my skin to anyone without medically trained staff affiliated with the clinic. I was amazed to discover Alison Haynes Skin Clinic tucked away in Cuffley — practically on my doorstep. This was huge for me. In all my 54 years, I had never stepped foot inside an aesthetic clinic, never had a facial… and certainly never followed a proper skincare routine.

From the very first moment I walked in, Alison and her team made me feel relaxed, heard and validated. And as much as I’d love to keep this clinic as my own secret safe haven, it truly deserves every accolade.

As for the seborrheic keratosis — it’s completely gone, without a trace (good riddance!). Even more wonderfully, I now have a solid medical-grade skincare routine using Obagi products from the clinic. I’ve also booked a course of Mesoestetic Age Element facials, had two Botox sessions, a lash lift, thread vein removal and will soon be booking a course of Exion next. I’ve even introduced my sister — who now happily makes an 80-mile round trip just to be treated there. If that's not testament enough to how wonderful this place is and just how special the team are, I don't know what is. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.
