Alison was most unsupportive and disingenuous, offered two complementary treatments which I refused as I had no evidence of any results from the previous 4. Asked for a 50% refund which was refused, sent a letter to request response within 24 hours, received response from a member of staff apologising for Alison's sickness. Needless to say I did not receive a response, so I am now taking this further.

In response to the clinic’s reply:

1) Yes you did state that results vary from person to person but at the initial consultation you were very persuasive and extremely confident I would see noticeable results which I did not see. You also said I would see results after the third session and you agreed at that stage that there was no change and at that point you said it might take longer.

I explained I did not want to waste money as well. The cost was £720 and the lack of results does not justify the price.

2) This is absolute and utter rubbish. No I did not see any result at all at that stage and I emailed you a couple of weeks prior to the follow up to say so. Additionally, after my fourth treatment when I still couldn’t see results, you promised to send images of before and after to me which you never did.

3) I feel that another two sessions will not make a difference as to date there is no change. The treatment took 15 minutes on each side. 30 minutes in total and not 40 minutes. The last treatment took longer because I pointed out I was concerned there was no improvement. If you’re willing to offer complimentary treatments then you could just as well refund the price of these two sessions.

4) You took two and a half weeks to reply to an unhappy client and as I had flagged more than twice my unhappiness with results (once via email) I felt I did not need to wait any longer considering the money spent.

5) I am not responsible for any review other than my own. Now you’re accusing me of leaving false reviews, that is shocking and I suggest you remove this accusation.

6) This is true I did sign your paperwork but you were adamant I would see results.

7) No I do not permit you to post images of my body online. Should I post images of my email?

Furthermore, I said to you that I hoped to focus on other areas following treatment completion. With no results obviously I did not pursue the treatment anywhere else. More prudently, had I have seen results I wouldn’t be leaving a negative review of the treatment or the service.

I hope anyone reading this thinks twice before spending hundreds of pounds on treatments at your clinic. I attend two other clinics and in all the years I’ve done so, I have never had an experience like this. Show less »

I carefully chose Alison Haynes after looking for a specialist skincare clinic for some time. I wanted an experienced, professional environment that provided a balance of expert skin care knowledge, great customer service and a touch of luxury. I found all three! I particularly appreciated the time Alison took to explore my skin concerns during our consultation. She listened intently and tailored recommendations to my individual needs. This was particularly important to me as I have several medical conditions that need to be taken in to consideration.
