I am deeply disappointed with my experience. A couple of weeks ago, I called this clinic to ask whether they offer dermatologist patch testing, as I was exploring my options for a skin issue. The lady I spoke to simply told me that they do not provide patch tests and then abruptly ended the call, without saying goodbye or even asking whether I had any furthe... Show more »

This is the first time I have encountered such dismissive and unprofessional behaviour from a clinic. Unfortunately, this experience has completely put me off and I will not be returning. Show less »

Yvonni and Toni have been doing my laser hair removal and both ladies are so professional and make you feel comfortable straight away. I’m very impressed with my results after only a few sessions and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The clinic is spotlessly clean and has a nice ambience. 5🌟 !!

Came to Glasgow clinic to have my lips done, was nervous upon arrival as was only looking for a slight lift and plump. Nurse Hannah and Clinical Manager Lisa, made me feel right at home and ease from the second I entered the room. Hannah took time to fully discuss my concerns and outcome with inputting her excellent advise on how to lift the lip for a natural appearance - which I was looking for!

Will definitely be back to see Hannah for my next appointment. Highly recommended skn and their professionalism.

From the moment I arrived, the team were welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. A special thank you to Yvonni, who carried out my laser hair removal treatments—she was absolutely brilliant throughout. She took the time to explain each step clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable during every session.

Yvonni’s attention to detail and friendly approach really stood out, and I felt confident I was in safe, knowledgeable hands. The results have been amazing so far, and the whole process has been much smoother and more effective than I expected.

I visited sk:n in Glasgow to find out if they could help me with a scar I had next to my left eye. I had fallen 2 years prior and was quite self conscious about the scar I had been left with.
Right away Dr Al-Nakib put me at ease, he explained that he could perform a very simple procedure called Z Plasty and that while it would never be 100% perfect, I could expect to see a big improvement. That was good enough for me so I decided to go for it.
A week later I went back to the clinic for my procedure. I was there for around 30 mins. I was pretty nervous which I think was obvious to Dr Al-Nakib and the nurse, Bernadette, who done a great job of reassuring me. He talked me through exactly what he was doing and what to expect.
Once finished I was given some aftercare instructions and booked in for a follow up to have my stitches removed the week later.
Even with the stitches in and the little white strip plasters I could see it was better than it had looked before. A week later, the stitches are out and I’m really happy. The original scar wasn’t huge but it bothered me and I’m really pleased with the results, which I’m told will continue to improve once the swelling goes away completely. I can't praise dr al mckib enough for his treatment and kindness I have seen many skin consultants over the years and they didn't really help I would advise anyone with skin problems needing laser ect to contact him he will make you feel so at ease and during a laser session for rosaca he found skin cancer which he removed I honestly can't praise him enou... So disappointing.
I went to Skn Glasgow as have been struggling with hormonal acne for years. I felt that before the dermatologist had even met or spoken to me, she had already decided on my treatment plan- a cookie cutter plan of oral antibiotics and topical gel.
While I appreciate they get a lot of information from the pre appointment form I completed, I wasn't asked any questions regarding what my skin is like, diet/lifestyle, what makes it worse/better, or what treatments I had tried in the past. I had to press to give details about my daily skin routine, to which the dermatologist had no real opinion on.
After explaining I couldn't use the cleanser they recommended as I had tried it previously and it didn't agree with my skin, I was told to "just find one that works...".
I was in the consultation room for about 3 minutes which I feel is below acceptable for such a pricey consultation.
I had such high hopes for this appointment as thought seeking professional help would give me answers. Deeply disheartened by this experience, feels like another money making skincare scheme. Show less »

I booked an appointment with this company on the 8th of September for today. At 12pm on the day of my appointment, I received a call telling me it had been cancelled, without any explanation given.

Initially, I was told they could fit me in tomorrow. This was frustrating enough as I had already arranged time off work, but I was then told they actually couldn’t see me until more than a week later. For a company of this size, I would expect that if they cancel with less than five hours notice, rebooking my appointment would be treated as a priority. That was not the case.

When I called to rebook the appointment, the person I spoke with knew I was a new client and that this was my first impression of the company. Yet, they made no effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I was told that I’d have to wait over a week. At that point, I asked them to cancel entirely. They agreed to do so immediately, but did not even mention refunding the money I had already paid. I had to request that myself, and was then told it could take up to 28 working days.

The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer care was shocking. Cancelling on a new client at the last minute, offering no real solution, and failing to proactively refund money is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend booking with this company. Show less »

Carol was so friendly and reassuring throughout the whole process. I left the clinic feeling relaxed, listened to and most importantly with glowing skin. I got exactly what I asked for and still feel after a month that my skin is healthier than before. Had the most welcoming experience in sk:n, the girls are so lovely and very professional.
Chloe was outstanding and I really felt so comfortable with her during my treatment.

Travelled 5 hours on a ferry, 3 hours in a car to reach Glasgow. Paid 2 nights in a hotel for this appointment to get to the door of the clinic to this photo! Only got a reminder on Monday 15th July to make sure i was going to the appointment. Very friendly yet professional staff. I’d been in for a treatment a week prior and returned a week later to get stitches out and both times was made to feel at ease. On returning, the clinician came to say hello to my daughter and had remembered her name which was really personable.
