Absolute disgrace of a practice.
Over the last few years many patients have been without an allocated dentist meaning these patients including children have gone without any appointments or treatment unless deemed urgent.
My young child has been left traumatised by a dentist in the practice threatening him with the “hospital which would be much worse if you don’t cooperate”
I raised a complaint over this, was told I’d receive a new appointment, 2 weeks went by with no contact, I called again and had to chase this up. It took the practice manager over a month to respond to my email.
There are random times given for appointments and not enough time for the treatment required.
Incorrect time of appointments sent out on text reminder and written on appointment card. When arriving for an appointment for a child, instead of seeing the child the practice manager spent the 10 minutes left of the appointment arguing over the appointment start time. Leaving my child without dental treatment yet again.
My partner has been with this practice over 20 years and never has it ever been as bad as it currently is.
Sent an email complaint regarding random length of appointment, wrong appointment time etc, I received a letter by recorded delivery kicking me and my children off the register instead of responding to the complaint.

Over the last few years many patients have been without an allocated dentist meaning these patients including children have gone without any appointments or treatment unless deemed urgent.

I was surprised I got seen so quickly as the practice was dire for a few years. Staff shortages and a locum that only worked 2 days a week there. About a year ago I called as a deep filler came out of my back top right tooth and they said the would call me back. I ended up buying a kit and filled it myself. I was surprised I got seen so quickly as the practice was dire for a few years. Staff shortages and a locum that only worked 2 days a week there. About a year ago I called as a deep filler came out of my back top right tooth and they said the would call me back. I ended up buying a kit and filled it myself. A year later and I never got that call back concerning my tooth, so I was very dubious about them failing again. After a week of horrific pain I couldn’t take anymore, I was in agony with a back tooth. I couldn’t chew, eat properly or sleep for a full week. Called the dentist on Tuesday at 9.10am and I got an emergency appointment for 10am the same morning. Oh the relief when she done the first stage of root canal. I can finally eat. Even though the appointments are a lengthy wait for the final stage of root canal, they put me on the short list for a cancellation appointment. My new dentist is a lovely lady like my old dentist that left the surgery and she really helped me out a lot. Thank you, it’s still a little bit tender but that’ll soon settle down. Show less »
