1. Unreasonable 7-Day Cancellation Policy is unreasonable and disproportionate for a medical aesthetic service.

I contacted your clinic to cancel the appointment provided over 48 hours’ notice. This is a commonly accepted and reasonable cancellation period within the UK healthcare and aesthetic industry.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, contract terms must be fair, transparent, and reasonable. A 7-day cancellation requirement places an excessive burden on consumers and may be considered an unfair contractual term.

2. Unreasonable and Excessive Cancellation Charge I was informed that cancelling the appointment would result in being charged the full treatment fee of £400.

This charge is grossly disproportionate and does not reflect any genuine loss incurred by your clinic, particularly as:
• Over 48 hours’ notice was given
• The appointment could reasonably have been reallocated
• No treatment or materials were used

Charging the full treatment cost in these circumstances appears punitive rather than compensatory, which is not permitted under UK consumer law.

3. Unprofessional and Rude Conduct by Staff

During my phone call to cancel, the receptionist’s attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.

Most concerning was that the receptionist made a medical judgement, stating that my daughter “does not have a keloid scar.” This is wholly inappropriate, as reception staff are not medically qualified to make such assessments.

4. Reason for Cancellation (Medical Grounds – Minor Patient)

My daughter is 14 years old and developed a keloid scar following an ice-skating accident in August. After two laser treatments, there has been minimal improvement. Based on medical advice from a qualified doctor (my cousin, who treats keloid scars clinically), we decided it would be more appropriate at this stage to consult a dermatologist and consider steroid injections, which are widely recognised as a first-line treatment for keloid scars.

Laser treatment may be suitable later (e.g. pulsed dye laser), but this service is not available at your clinic. The decision to cancel was made in the best medical interests of a minor, not lightly or irresponsibly. Show less »

I recently had halo + bbl at Nassif medical spa, from the start of my appointment I was made to feel extremely welcome, all the staff are lovely. Amanda is extremely knowledgeable and we had a very in depth consultation before proceeding with the treatment. Amanda made me as comfortable as possible for the treatment and my results are incredible, I went with a problem with pigmentation and Amanda was confident we could treat it and she has done so! I have received so many compliments on my clear skin and glow! I’ve visited many clinics and tried most treatments this has been my favourite clinic and treatment hands down! I was treated by Amanda and Alice, and they were absolutely amazing. Both were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. They explained everything clearly, checked on my comfort, and created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I felt truly well looked after, and I’m already confident in the results to come because, I am so happy with my results already - I can see huge difference in my skin and is honestly incredible and I’m so pleased with how everything is healing. I was so impressed that I already booked my mum for the same treatment because the results are truly amazing.

What an exceptional practice!
I had the Sciton BBL and Halo treatment to remove freckles from my face, arms, chest and shoulders. Freckles have bothered me mentally all my life (due to childhood experiences) and through thorough research I found the NassifMD Spa.
I made the call and the friendly receptionist was very helpful and suggested I took photos and sent them in before I booked a consultation to ensure it was something they could do for me (as I live 1.5hour drive away). I received confirmation that it was something they could do and so booked in for a consultation.
And Wow! what a consultation, Amanda listened very carefully to my concerns and shared her wealth of knowledge on what was the best treatment, individualised for me. I came away super positive from the consultation, excited for the treatment to get underway.
I went on to have the treatments, 4 in total, each around 6weeks apart to let the treatment work its magic and with Amanda checking in on me in-between treatments. She talked me through all the steps on what she was doing, how it might feel and what to expect after the treatment during the healing process, reassuring me that if I was unsure of anything I could contact her at any time.

And I am thoroughly happy with the results. It has made me more confident in myself and in my skin. I now wear vest tops and bikinis in the sun, with confidence. It’s been a real mental confidence boost for me, my skin looks amazing and I now look at my skin with envy, instead of disheartenment.
Numerous people have commented on my skin since the treatment and I have obviously blown Amanda’s trumpet.
Amanda is the heartbeat of the practice. Her knowledge and depth of understanding on a vast range of treatments is impeccable. She is caring, confident and very professional in what she does, zoning in on areas and treating them with the upmost care and attention, ensuring that you are comfortable throughout.
This practice is genuine and sincere, all the staff are so kind, helpful and make you feel comfortable at all times (even the coffee is special, with edible flowers!).

Alice, who carried out my hydrofacial, is an incredibly experienced therapist and also one of the kindest people I’ve ever met in a treatment setting. She explained everything clearly, was so gentle and professional throughout, and really took the time to make sure I was comfortable. The treatment left my skin absolutely glowing, and I could immediately see and feel the difference.

Three weeks later, I returned for fractional and BBL laser treatments, and once again, I was welcomed with the same warmth and professionalism, this time by Amanda. These were treatments I had been considering for a long time, and I had spent quite a while searching for the right clinic where I would feel confident and cared for. The results have been fantastic, and I am truly thrilled with the improvement in my skin. Beyond the treatments themselves, what makes this clinic stand out is the team. Alice’s expertise and kindness, combined with Elisha and Amanda’s warm and welcoming nature, made me feel so valued and looked after. Talked me through everything and no question was too much trouble to answer (and there were a lot). She even suggested removing a mole that was close to my eye.
