Unfortunately the BIAB manicure I had done yesterday did not last even a day and came off completely tonight from one finger. I had a gel manicure done at Mermaid today, and Bardha was fantastic! This was my first ever gel manicure and she was so reassuring, talked me through the process and patiently let me choose my colour. I’ve never had an issue with this salon before, however today I had a new therapist who left hot wax in my hair which I was then left with to sort out myself. I understand I was running late but I had rang to ask if I was okay to arrive at 11.15 instead of 11 in which they agreed to and so I expect to receive what I am paying for. I’ve never had an issue with this salon before, however today I had a new therapist who left hot wax in my hair which I was then left with to sort out myself. I understand I was running late but I had rang to ask if I was okay to arrive at 11.15 instead of 11 in which they agreed to and so I expect to receive what I am paying for. She did a wonderful job with my eyebrows, however my upper lip was left with 50% hair still there and was not given a lot attention, however I actually prefer more attention on my upper lip rather than my brows. I would still attend, but not with this therapist who’s name I believe is Bardha. The wax is still there and due to having to run many errands I was unable to complain and ask for help from them and have had to go somewhere else to see if I needed my hair cut due to the amount of wax. Mermaid kindly offered me a discounted rate to rebook. We were also late to the appointment but they still retained the discount. Absolutely cannot fault their service. Absolutely cannot fault their service. My masseuse found a variety of muscle knots I've been previously unaware of and took the time to focus where was needed.

Keep doing what you're doing Mermaid Team, you're brilliant!
