I had toothache and waited so long for an appointment that I ended up being rushed into hospital and spending the night there as the toothache lead to an abscess which caused my throat to swell shut and made it extremely difficult to breathe. Then a few months later that same toothache was still painful. So I went to largs so called dental surgery. Where an incompetent dentist snapped my tooth trying to remove it. Said she couldn't remove the rest and sent me away with antibiotics. Then I had vertigo for almost 6 months. Could hardly stand, walk, and repeated visits to doctors and multiple medication did not solve the vertigo. Went back to this so called dentist with pain in the snapped tooth. Refused to see that same dentist ( miss Wang). Seen a different dentist who took the other half of tooth out. And the vertigo disappeared 2 days later. So I struggled with vertigo for all that time as a result of this dentists actions. Now i have been waiting 3 months for an appointment. Called them in April as I have a lump in my mouth. Scary and quite serious. They told me they would call me in may with an appointment. May passed. Into June and not answering calls. I had to go in person to be told they will be in touch in a few weeks about an appointment. Obviously I won't be holding my breath for that. And also I like to add. That every single time you call, they do not answer. You get a voice message saying that they are extremely busy on the phone. Yet any time you go in there, they are not on a phone. Phones are never even ringing. And iv stood in the reception trying to phone them and seen that the phones are not even ringing. So clearly they are on silent and being ignored. Meanwhile the two receptionists who are apparently so busy on calls with the phones that are not even ringing are definitely not busy with other stuff as they can be seen casually sitting there having a nice little chit chat and a wee joke or two. While they have the phone on silent and claim to be busy with calls. This so called dental surgery is anything but a dental surgery. Who ever is managing this place should be fired. As should the receptionists. And Mrs Wang should definitely not be allowed near anybodys teeth. Don't waste your time trying to call. Go in person. Call while your in the waiting room and see for yourself how they just ignore the calls. Disgusting and unprofessional service. Also this place is prioritising Botox appointments over actual dental appointments. This should not be allowed. Show less »

Isabel Saunderson was a 5 star dentist who cared about her patients. She was true to the NHS. The vibe from other staff is nowhere near as positive. I was offered a private appointment with Alison if I didn't want to wait for my scheduled one with Isabel. There is a big push for aesthetics and cosmetic dentristy at LDS now.
