Arden Clinic Reviews

The worst clinic ever. Terrible service, not to mention the doctors. Where did they leave from? Today I called, and not only was I already in the queue at 8:00 a.m., but they hang up on you and when you do get through, they refuse to schedule an appointment with a doctor. The worst clinic ever. Zero help and zero anything.

Started off being 115 in the queue and after more than 2 hours on the call and 12th in the queue, this GP surgery number went down and my call ended. I’ve taken the day off work cos my 10 month old baby is whizzing badly and just need her checked up to make sure she’s alright.

Rang about my mum recently. The receptionist was extremely helpful. She listened very carefully & said someone would ring me back when she had spoken to uncall doctor. Went down to the gp appointment & gp (Dr Ahmed) was also very helpful & kind. He was as reassuring as he possibily could be at this time. Show less »

Extremely disappointed with the service here. The phone call waiting times are ridiculous. I was waiting from number 90 until 49, and it took over 50 minutes just to get to that position, and then the connection died and it cut off. Wasted all that time for 0 results in the end. But when YOU DO GET THROUGH, the phone connection sounded like they are stuck in a sewer, making it difficult to understand anyone. The doctors are pretty rude and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of empathy. They don't seem to care about your health or listen to your concerns. It seems like no one wants to be there. The standards have fallen off a cliff, so I'm done with this practice. The online system is terrible, confusing, and poorly laid out, making it nearly impossible to get what you actually want, and I'm pretty tech savvy, but I struggle with it myself. 0 stars if possible. Honestly, getting through to a receptionist at this place, it would be easier to collect the infinity stones. Show less »

I live next door to my doctors which i have been with for 15+ years.
It used to be a good doctors before the original main doctor retired + it changed hands.
Its nearly impossible to get through on the phone for any appointments +
when using online patches you get fobbed off telling you to see the pharmacist + pay for medication yourself even if on UC etc.
For example today i used patches as i have infection on the left side of my face which started in my neck gland and 3 days later its spread to my ear + i have problems swallowing.
The reply i got back was...'Thank you for the patch's for these type of symptoms you can get advise from the pharmacy and buy medication'.
So i went to the pharmacy who said he cant help me even though its obviously a infection + i need to go back round to the doctors + tell them he said its up to them to sort out.
Which i did + the receptionist said its not up to them as they cant do anything about it until I've had the problem at least a week??
I then asked her about my painkillers that my neurologist put me on as i have had to keep asking for them each time + they should be on repeat.
She tried to say that they have no record from my neurologist about them which i told her i came in + gave it in at reception myself months ago.
She then blatantly lied to my face saying they haven't got the letter from my neurologist + i would have to bring my copy round.
Then she said oh there is something here from Leeds(my neurologist) but it doesn't mention anything about painkillers.
I told her she's talking rubbish + why have i been taking the Co-Codamol for the last 2/3 months + if need be i will bring another copy as i have it in a email.
She then said ok yes your taking the painkillers but what's your problem?
I was really mad by now + was biting my tongue + said i have been having to ask for them for 2/3 months now + i was told by another receptionist that i have to ask 2 times before they will be put on repeat.
She told me that the 2 times before they will be put on repeat is rubbish + i will have to keep asking for them in a caption under all my other repeat meds??
So i then asked her will i at least get the right amount to last the 28 days as they just sent me 100 to last me 28days at 6 tablets a day(168).
She said she will put a note down + i walked out before i blew my top.
When i asked them the month before for more painkillers because they only gave me 100 they made out i was taking more than the prescribed amount + i had to give them a math's education that 6x28 = 168.
Then they sent me another box of 100 to chemist (they don't even let you know when meds are prescribed i have to go to the chemist + ask).
I went back to pharmacy + he did not understand why they wouldn't just prescribe me some antibiotics + said he can only suggest A+E.
I cant afford taxis over to the other side of Bradford to the A+E + surely its not fair for me put it on the already overflowing A+E.
So now I'm sat here knowing i have to suffer 4/5 days before i can go back to my doctors (which im sure is not real practice?).
My repeat prescriptions are due this week + I've got the farce to go through to get my painkillers even though it would make their life easier to just put the right amount down on my repeats.
Like i said i live literally next door to the doctors but nothing is convenient anymore + will be changing doctors asap.
If i could give 0 stars i would, they are a joke. Show less »
